NAEL Letter to Minister of Transportation At the last meeting a motion was made to write to the Minister of Transportation regarding the condition of the highways in Northern Alberta. The Northern Alberta Elected Leaders are requesting council support the attached letter. 276/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Ungarian to support the NAEL letter to the Minister of Transportation and to have administration write a letter to the Minister of Transportation regarding the poor state of the highway infrastructure in Northern Alberta. B. Alberta Trappers Association Sponsorship Request The Alberta Trappers Association is seeking sponsorship for their 40 th annual Rendezvous and Outdoorsman Show in Grimshaw on July 19 th and 20 th. 277/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Kamieniecki to sponsor the Alberta Trappers Association 40 th Annual Rendezvous and Outdoorsman Show in Grimshaw on July 19 th and 20 th in the amount of $ C. Invitation to celebrate the AER Grande Prairie Field Centre Council has received an invitation to celebrate the opening of the Alberta Energy Regulator s Grande Prairie Field Centre on June 27, /25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Ungarian to accept the AER Grande Prairie Field Centre invitation as information. -Press 1:10 p.m. F. Impacts of EMS Dispatch Consolidation Session The Minister of Municipal Affairs has added a consultation session on the impacts of EMS Dispatch consolidation in Grande Prairie on July 3 rd, /25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Kamieniecki to accept the Impacts of EMS Consolidation session as information. B. Letter from Town of Peace River RE: Air Ambulance Service The Town of Peace River has written a letter to the Minister of Health regarding the removal of an air ambulance plane and are seeking the support of the County. 284/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Ungarian to request more information from Alberta Health Services regarding the removal of services from Peace River By-law Enforcement 06.3 Transportation/Drainage/Public Works Public Works Roads Airport Drainage Ditches

That the applicant/owner provide Municipal Reserve in the amount of 6.01 ha to the County of Northern Lights pursuant to Section 663 of the Municipal Government Act, as illustrated on the approved subdivision sketch; 2. that the applicant/ owner provide Environmental Reserve in the amount of 5.21 ha to the County of Northern Lights pursuant to Section 664 of the Municipal Government Act as illustrated on the approved subdivision sketch; 3. that the applicant/ owner dedicate a 5.0 m road right-of-way by caveat along boundaries of the proposed lot 1, block 1 and Lot 1, Block 2 adjacent to Township Road 920 pursuant to Section 661 of the Municipal Government Act; 4. that the applicant/ owner enter into a Development Agreement with the County of Northern Lights to include, but not be limited to, the construction of the internal subdivision road to County standards, the construction of approaches to each lot and the construction of a branch line tying into the Northern Lights Water Co-Operative water line to be located adjacent to the road right-of-way; 5. that the applicant/ owner provide a stormwater management plan tot the county prior to subdivision endorsement per policy of the ASP; 6. that the applicant/ owner provide easements and/or rights-of-way in accordance with utility company and Northern Lights Water Co-operative requirements; 7. that the applicant/ owner contact an Alberta Land Surveyor for the preparation of a Plan of Subdivision suitable for registration at the Alberta Land Titles Office in order to obtain title(s) under this decision: and 8. that the applicant/ owner pay all outstanding property taxes pursuant to Section 654(1)(d) of the Municipal Government Act prior to the endorsement of the plan of subdivision, or that arrangements be made which are satisfactory to the County of Northern Lights. b) Development Permits Issued by Development Officer i) DP Fehr, Henry Pt SW W5M Shop ii) DP Braim, Benjamin & Laura Pt SE W5M Pl Bk 1 Lt 4 Residence 286/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Kamieniecki to accept DP and DP as issued by the Development Officer as information.

Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life Donation Request The Canadian Cancer Society is requesting a donation for the Relay for Life in Peace River. 287/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Ungarian to accept the donation request from The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life as information. B. Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Donation Request The Salvation Army is seeking a donation for their Christmas hamper project. 288/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Reese to donate $300 to the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Project for C. Appointment of Weed Inspector The Ag Fieldman is recommending the ASB appoint John Brodrick as the Weed Inspector for the 2013 season. 289/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Halabisky to appoint Mr. John Brodrick as the Weed Inspector for the 2013 season. D. Paddle the Peace The Paddle the Peace Committee is requesting Council representation at the brunch and the event on August 18 th, /25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Reese to have Reeve Anderson and Councillor Harbaruk attend the Paddle the Peace brunch on August 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. E. Paddle the Peace/ County in Bloom Sponsorship Economic Development and Community Services have provided a report informing Council that they will be sending out letters requesting sponsorship assistance for the Paddle the Peace and the County in Bloom programs. 291/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Halabisky to accept the report on the Paddle the Peace and The County in Bloom sponsorship request program as information. F. Manning Adult Learning Center The Adult Learning Center in Manning is seeking financial support. 292/25/06/13 MOVED BY Councillor Reese to provide $ to the Adult Learning Center and to have the program Coordinator come to Council with a presentation on their operations and programs.
