2 RFQ No. 16P3 Addendum No. 1 The following changes, additions, deletions, clarifications, or corrections shall become part of the submitted proposal for Chaffey Community College District RFQ No. 16P3, located at the Rancho Cucamonga campus, first detailed in the notice requesting proposals dated July 14, All other terms, specifications, and conditions remain the same. Each proposer shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in its Proposal submittal. Modifications are identified by clouds and the following: Deletions strikethrough Insertions/Substitutions italic-underlined. ITEM No. 1; ADD the ARCHITECTS QUESTIONS & ANSWERS (July 30, 2015) Item No. AD-1.1: A. RFC #16P3-1: Question - In our response to the RFQ, are you looking for us to identify the entire team (including consultants)? Answer: Consultants should be included if they will be working directly with the college. Item No. AD-1.2: B. RFC #16P3-2 Question- There appears to be a discrepancy between the individual project values shown on Page 1 of RFQ and those values shown for the same projects in Attachment 1: Project Description, Chaffey College Measure L Projects (Pages 12-17). Can you clarify which project values are correct? Answer: Respondents should use the Construction Estimate values identified on page 1. Item No. AD-1.3: C. RFC #16P3-3 Question - Tab 9 of the RFQ requires a Proposed Fee and Rate Schedule. Can you please clarify if the fees should be prepared as one lump sum for all projects listed on Page 1, or five separate lump sums, one for each individual project? 3 RFQ NO.16P3 Addendum No. 1 Answer: Please provide one proposed fee and rate schedule for all 5 projects listed. Item No. AD-1.4: D. RFC #16P3-4 Question - It is our belief that there is benefit to the College for one architectural firm to act as Executive Architect for all five projects. Is it the intention of the District to award all projects listed to a single architectural firm, or to segregate the projects among multiple firms? Answer: It is the intent of the college to select one architectural firm to provide design services for all five projects listed. However, the award will be based upon the recommendations of the Selection Committee. Item No. AD-1.5: E. RFC #16P3-5 Question We noticed that there is no pre-proposal meeting. Is there any way we could get a tour or site walk of the Measure L Projects? Answer: There will be no pre-proposal meeting, but the Campus is open during regular business hours for a self-guided tour of the Rancho Cucamonga campus. See the attached campus map with the 5 project locations highlighted. Item No. AD-1.6: F. RFC #16P3-6 Question Section 5a. Qualification Submittal Requirements and Delivery Due Date, states that each respondent must submit (4) bound copies and (1) electronic copy (flash drive) of its Qualification Submittal. On the following page it states that the District recommends that respondents limit their Qualification Submittals to forty (40) pages and specifies that each binder must contain the same information. Can the District please clarify whether the proposal should simply be bound or submitted in 3 ring binders? Answer: Either bound format is acceptable. Official Copy for RFQ No. 16P3 3 of 5

RFC #16P3-7 Question There was included in the RFQ a sample contract but there was no request in the RFQ to include any comments we may have about the contract. Are you open to having this discussion at a later date in the process? Answer: After the selection process, these discussions will be a part of the contract process. Item No. AD-1.8: H. RFC #16P3-8 Question The Construction Estimate stated on page 1 of the RFQ does not reflect the same cost as the Hard Cost stated on Attachment 1 Project Description. Please indicate the correct construction estimate cost. Answer: Same answer as noted in question # 2. Item No. AD-1.9: I. RFC #16P3-9 Question Do you want a fully burdened fee? Answer: Yes. Item No. AD-1.10: J. RFC #16P3-10 Question Do you want us to include sub consultant qualifications, and if so, which disciplines?
