Mayor Craig welcomes everyone present and calls the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and the meeting adjourns at 7:49 p.m. Singing of the National Anthem Indigenous Territory Acknowledgement

Tender Award Supply and Delivery of Water Softener Salt and Ice Melting Products (Co-op Contract) THAT Council approve the award of Tender , re: Supply and Delivery of Water Softener Salt and Ice Melting Products to Riepert Salt and Supply Inc. of Waterloo, for the total tendered price of $180,607.90, including H.S.T., this being the lowest compliant bid received, as outlined in Report (CRS). 10. Citizen Committee on Council Compensation Recommendations Motion: Moved By: Councillor Devine Seconded By: Councillor Liggett THAT effective January 1, 2019, remuneration for the Mayor shall be $101,000 per annum plus the percentage salary adjustment applicable to the Non-Union pay group, rounded to even dollars; AND THAT effective January 1, 2019, remuneration for Ward Councillors shall be $41,000 per annum plus the percentage salary adjustment applicable to the Non-Union pay group, rounded to even dollars; AND THAT Corporate Policy COR be amended to remove the reimbursement of telephone costs for members of Council, effective January 1, 2019; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor be enrolled in OMERS pension plan, effective January 1, 2019, following passing of necessary by-law and Council be given the same opportunity, if they choose.

8 Page 8 AMENDMENT TO MAIN AMENDMENT Moved by: Councillor Mann Seconded by: NIL THAT effective January 1, 2019, remuneration for the Mayor shall be $93,248 (2018 rate) and effective January 1, 2020, remuneration for the Mayor shall be $101,000 (2019 rate) per annum plus the percentage salary adjustment applicable to the Non- Union pay group, rounded to even dollars; AND THAT effective January 1, 2019, remuneration for Ward Councillors shall be $37,822 (2018 rate) and effective January 1, 2020, remuneration for Ward Councillors shall be $41,000 (2019 rate) per annum plus the percentage salary adjustment applicable to the Non-Union pay group, rounded to even dollars; MOTION FAILS Councillor Devine requested a recorded vote on the main motion, which is taken as follows: IN FAVOUR: Mayor Craig, Councillors Adshade, Ermeta, Devine, Liggett, Monteiro, Reid, Wolf OPPOSED: Councillor Mann CARRIED, on a 8-1 recorded vote Notice of Motion(s) NIL Unfinished Business 11.
