Bylaws for Consideration of Third Reading Z 17-14, Zoning Amendment Bylaw No , 3545 McIver Road Pg. 33 THAT Council give third reading to City of West Kelowna Zoning Amendment Bylaw No , 2017 (File: Z 17-14); and THAT Council direct staff to schedule the bylaws for consideration of adoption following: Submission of the following items to the satisfaction of the General Manager of Development Services: o Preliminary design drawing and cost estimate for a narrow multi-use trail along the length of McTaggart Road extending from the subject property to Gorman Road; and Registration of a Section 219 Covenant: o Restricting future subdivision of proposed Lot 4 unless road access is provided to the required road standard, or an alternate road alignment creates safe access to the lot; and o Requiring future maintenance of the private driveway operating within the McTaggart Road right of way by the owner of Lot 4 and that current and future owners acknowledge that there should be no expectation of road maintenance by the City; and o Requiring the construction of a narrow multi-use trail with asphalt finish (2 m width) along the length of McTaggart Road extending from the subject property to Gorman Road as a condition of any future subdivision; Council consideration and approval for the proposed exemption for required frontage works for McTaggart Road.

3 PAGE 3 OF 5 Planning A / TUP 18-04, Temporary Use Permit and Non-Farm Use Application, 3275 Shetler Drive Pg. 53 THAT Council support the request to permit a non-farm use for general industry, specifically a woodworking shop, in the Agricultural Land Reserve (File: A 18-03) for the property at 3275 Shetler Drive; and THAT Council approve the issuance of a Temporary Use Permit (File: TUP 18-04) for a period of three years to permit the use of the existing workshop structure at 3275 Shetler Drive for general industry, specifically a woodworking shop, conditional upon ALC approval of the non-farm use application and subject to the conditions in the attached permit DVP 18-11, Development Variance Permit, 1442 Rome Place Pg. 83 THAT Council support the issuance of a Development Variance Permit (DVP 18-11) for 1442 Rome Place to vary Zoning Bylaw No. 0154, Section 3.6.4(a).8(a) to allow an existing swimming pool to be sited 2.2 metres within the required front yard setback, subject to the conditions in the attached permit. 5 PAGE 5 OF Community Wildfire Protection Plan Update Pg. 241 THAT Council adopt the updated City of West Kelowna Community Wildfire Protection Plan October 2018; and THAT Council support the application to the Community Resiliency Investment Program requesting the maximum grant contribution of $100,000 to complete prescriptions and treatments in 2019; and THAT Council authorize the mayor and the City Clerk to execute the agreement for a successful application; and THAT Council direct staff to use the funding on a priority basis as established by the recommendations in the Community Wildfire Protection Plan October 2018; and THAT Council authorize staff to include $100,000 in the 2019 Operating Budget for prescriptions and treatments, subject to funding being provided through the Community Resiliency Investment Program Communications Review Pg. 351 Information Report from the Communications Supervisor 9.
