2 Key Messages International assistance plays a vital role in supporting Myanmar s historic transformation / how international assistance, aid is being used and what results are being achieved is important. Making aid transparency helps to ensure aid goes where it is most needed. Aid transparency isn't just about numbers. Results matter too.
3 Improving alignment of development cooperation with Myanmar s national priorities Developed a Framework for Social and Economic Reform (FESR) to guide our reform efforts Created 17 Sector Working Groups to build shared trust and enhance co-ordination Formed regular Government-Development Partners meetings to provide high-level thinking on aid effectiveness issues Conducted three annual Myanmar Development Cooperation Forum (MDCF) and Mid-Term Reviews (MTR) All Ministries developed the Ministry-wide and sector-wide plans

CSO CHALLENGES - Limited knowledge on aid effectiveness principles amongst CSOs poses challenges to CSO engagement - Local CSOs note that they feel sidelined compared to large INGOs, having to compete with more established INGOs for limited resources 6. IMPLEMENTATION CONSTRAINTS - Administrative and procedural issues along with a lack of clarity on some issues holds up the effective provision of assistance
15 Key Messages of Current Myanmar Government has the plan to develop the Economic Policy Starting to implement SDGs, it is important integration of SDG into Myanmar National Development Plan To prioritize the goal/ indicators relevant to Myanmar with different stakeholders Launched ZHC,Action Plan SDG Adaptation Workshop in Nay Pyi Taw,Myanmar delegation attended Regional UNDP SDG Meeting in Indonesia, in May Myanmar has already LDC graduation process with Myanmar Development Plan, Delegation MTR on IPOA in Turkey
16 Special Request Request to all UN Agencies and Development Partners to cooperate Myanmar in the implementation process of LDC graduation, SDGs and to develop the Economic Policy
