THEMATIC EXCHANGE OF VIEWS ON THE TOPIC OF SOCIAL HOUSING FOR ROMA (jointly with Roma Decade participants) [CAHROM(2012)8 prov preliminary draft synthesis report of the CAHROM thematic group on social housing for Roma] - Ms Mabera Kamberi ( the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia ) and other members of the CAHROM team of expert on social housing for Roma summarize the main findings of the preliminary draft report and lessons learnt; 1

THEMATIC EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE ON SCHOOL DROP- OUT/ABSENTEEISM OF ROMA CHILDREN (with The Netherlands as requesting country, Hungary, Spain and Sweden as partner countries) [CAHROM(2012)6 prov draft synthesis report of the CAHROM thematic group on reducing school drop-out/absenteeism of Roma children] [The new Chair sits in the Chair] a) Thematic report on school drop-out/absenteeism of Roma children - Mr. Cor de Vos (the Netherlands) summarizes the report and presents the main conclusions and lessons learnt; - Partner countries (Hungary, Spain and Sweden) and CAHROM participants, including observers, have the possibility to propose factual corrections to the report. They may also provide additional information relevant to the thematic area covered that will be published alongside the synthesis report. - Endorsement of the synthesis report in plenary; - Proposals for possible follow-up (envisaged bilateral or multilateral meetings, proposed draft recommendation on a specific issue, inclusion of good practices in the CoE database, etc.). b) Presentations related to topic of education - Presentation by the Decade presidency of the conclusions of the Decade Conference on Early child education; - Presentation by UNICEF of their work on the education of Roma in Romania by Ms Luminiţa Costache, UNICEF-Romania Office. 3

ROMA MEDIATION [CAHROM(2012)9 prov Preliminary draft Recommendation of the Committee of Ministers to member states on mediation as an effective tool for promoting respect for human rights and social inclusion of Roma; Report of the ROMED Stocktaking Conference] - Presentation of the experience of the ROMED programme and the main conclusions of the ROMED Stocktaking Conference. Bus transportation directly from Shuto Orizari to the airport for participants having their return flight scheduled between 12h30 and 16h20 (flights to Vienna, Istanbul, Zurich, Ljubljana, and Zagreb). ********** 7
