2 Angat Transmission Improvement Project Updated on October 29, 2018 Region III Central Luzon PhP 3.3 billion ADB Cooperativa Muratori and Cementisti Construction started October 26, 2016 Target completion June 30, 2022 Improve the reliability and security of raw water through partial rehabilitation of the transmission system from Ipo to La Mesa and the introduction of water safety, risk and asset management plans. The Project involves the construction of a new 4.00 meters tunnel (Tunnel no. 4) by 6.30 kilometers including intake and outlet works. 4 Chico River Pump Irrigation Project Cordillera Administrative Region PhP 4.4 billion ODA-China CAMC Engineering Construction started June 8, 2018 Target completion 2019 Photo Source: Philippine Information Agency The project covers installation of electric motor-driven pumps, construction of pumping station, construction of irrigation canals, facilities, and other appurtenant structures. The project will irrigate around 8,700 hectares, benefitting about 4,350 farmers and serving 21 barangays in Cagayan and Kalinga provinces. Groundbreaking on June 8, 2018 Project mobilization and construction is on-going and on-track. NEDA Board approved June 27, 2017 (change in project financing) Updated on October 25, 2018

5 Updated on October 25, 2018 Rehabilitation of Umiray-Angat Facilities Construction started Region IV-A CALABARZON PhP 717 million Common Purpose Facility Manila and Maynilad Target completion End of 2018 Rehabilitation and strengthening of existing tunnel structures/facilities to withstand future typhoons in order to ensure continuous flow of raw water from the Umiray River to the Angat Reservoir. This Project is associated with the above-mentioned MOA with LGU General Nakar.

6 Sumag River Diversion Project Construction started Target completion Region IV-A CALABARZON PhP 774 million Common Purpose Facility Manila and Maynilad Inactive Construction of a diversion tunnel to supplement water coming from Umiray River going to the Angat Reservoir. 7 Updated on October 25, 2018 Aqueduct No. 7 (AQ-7) Under development Region III Central Luzon ODA Target construction 2019 Target completion 2021 Photo Source: Metropolitan works and Sewerage System Construction of additional aqueduct to replace the existing Aqueducts 1 and 2 whose functionality has diminished. The project ensures reliability, improve operational flexibility, and dependability of raw water conveyance to Metro Manila. A feasibility study is currently being conducted by Tractebel (funded through grant from ADB) and is expected to be completed by August To be submitted to NEDA ICC on September 2018.

8 Updated on October 25, 2018 Ipo Dam No. 3 Under development Target construction Target completion Region III Central Luzon ODA-China Construction of a dam downstream of the Ipo Dam and upstream of the Bustos Dam to serve as catchment for spillage from Angat Dam and mitigate flooding within the area. MWSS to submit the TOR for the feasibility study.

9 New Centennial Source- Kaliwa Dam Project Under development Target construction 2018 Region IV A CALABARZON PhP 18.7 billion ODA-China Target completion 2022 Photo Source: Metropolitan works and Sewerage System Development of a new water source to meet the increasing water demand by constructing a redundant dam for Metro Manila s domestic water supply. The project is an integrated system that includes the 600 million liters per day (MLD) Kaliwa Dam, its intake and other appurtenant facilities, and a 2,400 MLD capacity raw water conveyance tunnel.
