2 ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS Erasmus Mundus Stipend for Master of Science in Computational Mechanics. (Offer declined) Maulana Azad National Fellowship (SRF) for pursuing Doctoral Thesis. ( ) Teaching and Research Assistance Fellowship (TEQIP-II). Gold Medalist in M.Tech. (Mechanical) 2009 Batch. Qualified GATE Exam in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2012 with Highest All India Rank RESEARCH / PROJECTS 1. Doctoral Thesis ( ) Advisor: Prof. M Altamsuh Siddiqui Title: Studies on Natural Convection Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow in Internally Heated Vertical Annulus. The main objective is to perform experimental and numerical analysis in an internally heated vertical annulus during natural convection single phase and boiling flow. Numerical models was developed for single phase flow and sub-cooled boiling flow using Ansys-Fluent. For the modeling of subcooled boiling flow RPI wall boiling model was used. 2. Development of Finite Volume Solver for Natural convection flow in cylindrical annular space CFD code is developed using Finite Volume Simpler Method for the solution of Natural convection flow in an internally heated vertical annulus. The scheme work on a staggered grid arrangement and developed using FORTRAN language. To accommodate for the large aspect ratio of the problem (352), the numerical scheme was parallelized for use on distributed memory machines with the help of Message Passing Interface (MPI).
