3. Project Outline & Current Status 11/21

Purpose of the project - As one of the top manufacturers of MAC (Mobile Air Conditioner), DENSO has been promoting GHG (Green House Gas)emission reduction around the world - DENSO started collaboration with KMUTT *1 to survey the efficiency of MAC in hot climate countries and make proposal for CO 2 reduction. - DENSO would like to contribute to GHG emission reduction in Thailand under the support of METI *2 *1 KMUTT : King Mongkut s University of Technology Thonburi *2 METI : Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry 12/21

Long term goals & schedule Long term goal : New scheme suggestion for CO 2 reduction by using H-MAC Activity Long term FY ~ Verification of New CO Concept 2 CO sharing with 2 reduction reduction effect of scheme to policymakers H-MAC utilize H-MAC Step1. Concept Sharing - Conference, Workshop and collaboration with policymakers Step2. Evaluation Tool - Develop Evaluation tool - Impact Assessment Step3. Bench Testing - Quantification of CO 2 emission FY2017 FY2018 : Concept sharing with stakeholders : Verification of CO 2 reduction effect & Discussion on H-MAC penetration measures 13/21

Evaluation Tool MAC Test Procedures to Quantify CO 2 Emission Region Criteria Available test + Method On vehicle Bench Test Target Output EU MACTP - US AC17 - US - LCCP* Not finalized CO 2 emission output to get EPA credit Life Cycle CO 2 emission output by Cooling Capacity and COP (Coefficiency of performance) For System Comparison *Life Cycle Climate Performance **SAE J2765 LCCP is simple, reliable method, certified by SAE** with no actual vehicle test required - only bench test operation 14/21

4. Summary 15/21

Summary - It is important to pay attention to CO 2 emission by the operation of MAC (Mobile Air Conditioners) especially in hot regions like ASEAN - DENSO will continue our effort to promote the use of H-MAC to contribute to global environment 16/21
