8 New Initiatives: Predictive Policing Re-engaged with law enforcement partners Detective assigned full time to the FBI JTTF Police officer assigned full time to BPD Youth Violence Strike Force Daily intelligence sharing with the BRIC/CFC Created a Juvenile Service Section Placed adequate resources to address youth population on the MBTA Instituted Juvenile Mediation Program Created Crime Suppression Team Consists of plainclothes officers and uniformed bicycle officers Established Point of Entry Policing 8

9 New Initiatives: Community Partnerships/Outreach Community Engagement with Boston Clergy, Neighborhood Associations, Elected Officials, Civic Leaders, Community Members etc. Added emphasis on youth/police relationships Targeted recruitment efforts directed at minority population in an attempt for a more diverse police department Solicit input from riding public regarding TPD enforcement actions 9
