7 1 Overview of existing operations Bingo s compliance policy Bingo manages its environmental responsibilities through our ISO 14001:2004 accredited environmental management systems which successfully completed an annual audit in September 2017 We take proactive measures to ensure we maintain compliance in accordance with our high standards, monitored through our Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ) committee which include: All incoming loads are checked for non-conforming materials at weighbridge All loads are spread once tipped and inspected for non-conforming materials All sites are subject to daily supervisor checks for compliance All sites are subject to a weekly compliance audit Our compliance team provides formal reports on SEQ performance, risks and management actions to the senior management team on a monthly basis We provide education and compliance training to all our employees We understand that no matter how proactive and thorough our policies are, incidents do occur, and where an incident has occurred we are responsive in our remediation efforts to quickly resolve the situation Bingo maintains a comprehensive insurance coverage for unforeseen events Page 6

11 2 Driving a circular economy through resource recovery Driving a circular economy Mixed waste is sorted and separated at Bingo recycling centres to create 14 different materials, five of which currently contribute to our revenue Bingo s in-house reprocessing capabilities Resource & Recovery Facilities: Enhanced waste processing and recycling capabilities through the addition of advanced waste processing technologies New processing capabilities provide the following benefits: Reduce Bingo s tipping costs Green Waste Brick & Concrete Generate additional revenue streams Materials: Bingo re-processes and re-sells 5 of the 14 waste product streams it processes and diverts most others from landfill (shown to the right) Closing the Loop: The materials are used by a number of end-markets including civil works / infrastructure projects, landscaping, housing and residential use and is consistent with our sustainability targets (as well as supporting our clients goals) Various end markets Scrap Metal Steel Paper / Cardboard Page 10

12 2 Driving a circular economy through resource recovery Leader in transparency of recovery rates Bingo is advocating for greater transparency across the sector by voluntarily adopting independent verification of its resource recovery rates at key sites As part of our commitment to resource recovery reporting transparency, Bingo commissioned Arcadis to undertake an independent verification of our resource recovery rates at key sites FY2017 average resource recovery rates from Auburn and Minto sites are 79% and 75%, respectively Auburn achieved a best monthly recovery rate of 85% Minto averaged 85% from April to June 2017 As new facilities come online, Bingo will voluntarily add these into the annual recovery audit process. St Mary s will be included in the FY18 audit Note: diversion rates may vary due to mix of waste from month to month, this does not directly impact profitability. Page 11

17 Bingo Acquisition of Patons Lane RRC Bingo acquired Patons Lane RRC in mid December 2017 following a competitive market process and detailed due diligence Patons Lane RRC will form an integral part of Bingo s network of facilities that supports the growth of Western Sydney Bingo is committed to delivering and operating the facility in accordance with best practice, and ensuring that all stakeholders are actively engaged. Following re-shaping, conduct landscaping works to revegetate the surface and adjoining batters / slopes Upgrade and seal Patons Lane and parts of Luddenham road together with the refurbishment of the existing dual weighbridge and a new associated office Prepare the recycling and reprocessing area to create the required landform and create a suitable pad for the on-site warehouse and mobile equipment storage area Construct and commission onsite C&I storage and sorting building and an on-site wheel wash facility Construct internal road network Extract clay / shale in cell 1A and in the recycling and reprocessing area to provide suitable landforms for the intended uses and waste cover material Construction of cell 1A (life of 3 5 years), which involves constructing a leachate collection system, drainage layer and suitable clay liner Page 17
