7 R: SEPTAGE RECEIVING STATION The M series is designed to receive and pre-treat effluents from septic haulers in order to prevent the solids from overcharging or overloading the downstream plant. The M series is an in-tank screw-screen composed of a semi-circular screen basket with perforated holes which filters the effluent and a shaftless screw to carry out the coarse material. The screw is equipped with special brushes in wear resistant plastic material to keep the screen basket clean. The screw is shaftless and therefore does not need any intermediate bearing, so risks of clogging due to rags, plastic bags etc are reduced to minimum. The M series can be supplied as a simple system with a Perrot or Bauer hookup to connect directly to the truck and an automatic valve which regulates the flow, controlled by an in-tank level indicator, or with a complete logger base station unit. Both options are completely automated. Our logger base station can be integrated with existing accounting and logging software. The database can be managed remotely either by DRYCAKE or by the end user.
