One of the worlds largest nuclear fuel production unit, with conversion facilities, control rod production and PWR and BWR fuel assembly production with total capacity of 900 tons uranium per year

Studsvik is a global cooperative group. The main business segments are Waste Treatment, Decommissioning, Engineering and Services, Operating Efficiency. The facilities in Sweden are Processing of Radioactive Waste, Fuel and Material performance, Material Integrity and Water Chemistry, Hot Cells, Decommissioning

KSU ensures the competense of the Swedish nuclear power plant personnel. KSU also develops full scale simulators, provide information about nuclear power and collects, analyzes and returns the operating experience from nuclear power plants worldwide. KSU is part of the Vattenfall Group since 2000 and is a member of WANO.

Forsmark has three boiling water reactors that generate TWh of electricity in a normal year. This is approx. one sixth of Sweden s total electrical energy consumption. The three reactors were all commissioned between 1980 and F MWe F MWe F MWe Forsmark are investing for the future which will enable both reactor safety and reactor output to be increased by 3,3 TWhe annnualy, and also power plant life time extention.

SKB, Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company, is tasked with managing Swedish nuclear and radioactive waste in a safe way. SFR Final repository for radioactive operational waste located at the Forsmark nuclear power plant in Sweden, was the first of its kind in the world when it was built

Marviken was a heavy water moderated and intended for the dual role of 130MWe of power generation and also plutonium production. It was never started. Ågesta with 10 MW, was much smaller than the later Swedish reactor types. The reactor was part of a project called "the Swedish line, an international initiative to use natural uranium. Ågesta was shutdown mostly a result of low oil prices and poor economics.
