3 GRAFFITI REMOVAL Envirochoice sets the benchmark for Graffiti removal and management systems. Traditional Methods Traditional methods of removal involves spraying graffiti remover and paints by using a wand or gerni, which are both dangerous and environ mentally destructive. If removers are used and sprayed with high pressure they become air, ground or water-bourne, which then becomes a potential health hazard and threatens not only people but also the environment, causing respiratory problems for operators and the general public and destroying vegetation leaking into our water ways through the drainage systems. In addition to the airborne hazards, water on the pathways become a slip hazard and the power of the pressure wand sometimes dislodges particles of brick that can hit passing pedestrians. From an environmental perspective, uncontrolled water flow can reach waterways, leach into soils & kill plants.
