Agricultural Water Testing The quality of your water can have a major impact on the performance of your crops and overall health of your herds. We offer a variety of agricultural water tests so that all of your on-farm needs can be met by a single supplier. This includes Irrigation Water, Livestock Drinking Water, Dairy Shed Water, Global GAP Water and Farm Surface Water Quality testing options.

5 Drinking Water Testing Drinking water quality will vary greatly depending on the source. It is always advisable to check whether your drinking water meets the requirements of the New Zealand Drinking Water Standards. This is especially important where water quality could be impacted by contaminants such as nitrates and E. coli. Drinking water testing is covered by our Routine Water profile and we have a number of different kits with instructions for different types of drinking water, such as bore water, rainwater and surface water. We are compliant with the IANZ Specific Criteria - Ministry of Health Register of Drinking Water Testing Laboratories. Swimming and Spa Pool Water Testing Contamination of swimming pools or spas occurs as a result of various faecal or oral discharges and skin shedding, and usually results in the accumulation of micro-organisms, some of which are harmful to humans. Food Safety Water Testing Testing self-supply water for its suitability for food processing is required for a range of operations, such as washing, blending, cleaning, ice making, steam production and product transportation, as per Section 21 of the Food Regulations We are able to provide sampling kits for this testing, which is typically for E.Coli and Turbidity. Global GAP Water Testing To assist growers in meeting Global GAP requirements, Hill Laboratories offers a convenient sampling kit and laboratory analysis for the presence of E. coli and Faecal Coliforms in water.
