There for the heat demand from the main air heater will be reduced and the coal consumption also reduced 1 EGHE provides up to 500 kw Page 17

Generated process heat for drying the tapioca starch with coal combustion OVERVIEW PROJECT SIMPLIFIED SCHEME Requirement: Complete substitution of coal combustion through the use of excess biogas and waste heat from the gas engines. Solution: Significantly reduced power consumption by highly efficient process heating plant. Installation of a biogas -fired thermal oil heater to replace the existing high-temperature heaters. Installation of an additional low-temperature air preheater with associated low-temperature thermal oil circuit.
