4 Dual or triple electrode probes are used for this process. These consist of a gold or Electrode housing for safe storage and transport platinum collector and a counter electrode. The triple electrode model contains an additional reference electrode. The electrodes are separated from the measuring medium by a specially designed diaphragm - this is an important requirement to maintain, for instance, a stable zero point and to protect against materials which would otherwise interfere with the readings. Conductivity measurement probes are also fitted with specially designed two-wire transducers providing accurate data transfer, even over large distances. 4. Temperature Measurement The ProMinent PT 100/1000 resistance thermometer equipped with twin wire transformers carries out temperature measurements. We test every part for correct functioning to ensure that each one is fully operational and conforms to ProMinent standards. Not even the tiniest flaw can go undetected by the tests and examinations we have designed, because you are entitled to complete confidence in the product. Hours and days on the test stand Every ph and redox electrode is tested twice, for example. Once straight after production and then again 14 days later in this way we avoid glassspecific production problems. All important test results e.g. zero point and slope conductance from every DULCOTEST ph sensor is logged and statistically analysed. The amperometric probes are placed under 24 hour stress tests. The objective is to analyse the precision of the measurement under specific application conditions.
