1 Hydro Engineering Company JSC "Hydro Engineering Company" abbreviated HEC, was founded in The primary target of the company business is development of hydro-epower recourses, rehabilitation of existing HPP s and the construction of new power plants. Theoretical capability of Georgia hydro electric power plants is 100 billion kw/h. However, in reality the country forecast power plants approximates to around 40 billion kw/h. That means that the country is only outputting at 25% efficiency currently on feasible capability. Due to objective reasons the existng HPPs are generating less electric power than is required by original design. Therefore, many stations requires modernization and rehabilitation workdue to this many programs have been created and the construction of new, electrical-power plants where considered. HEC works in cooporation with local and foreign companies.
