1 Dr. Shital Shukla Assistant Professor Educational Qualification: Ph.D (Geography) Shital Shukla has M.Sc. (Geography) and Ph.D. degree from Gujarat University for the thesis entitled Sustainable Development of the Coastal Region of Gujarat. Her areas of research interest are coastal area development, climate change and disaster management, human development, sustainable development and natural resource management. Projects Ongoing: 1. Vulnerability and Risk Measurement of Climate induced Disasters in Gujarat A project sponsored by ICSSR New Delhi. Projects Completed: 1. Organized an International Workshop on Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction into Development Strategies: held during January 2011 and Sponsored by TIFAC, DST, New Delhi under TIFAC- IIASA Partnership. 2.
