2 What Is Renewable Energy? Renewable energy is energy, which comes from renewable (naturally replenished) resources. Renewable sources of energy are wind power, solar power (thermal, photovoltaic and concentrated), hydroelectric power, geothermal energy and biofuel and biomass energy.
