A: Through Island Health and discussions with other health authorities we feel there are some unique things that are being done in British Columbia that is currently not recognized by LEED. A: As Director of Energy Efficiency and Conservation for Island health I have been involved with the LEED buildings that have been constructed for island health from the owner s perspective. I have advocated for the buildings to be registered in the program and ensured that the owners responsibilities where completed.
