2 About Project A large-scale event that includes a demonstration site of innovative environmental equipment, resource-saving technologies, modern world-class technology, as well as a meaningful Congress and business program that addresses the most important and topical issues of the industry. RESULTS OF YEAR 2018: 130 participating companies from 7 countries: Russia, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, USA Area of sq. m specialists from 10 countries and 50 cities and towns of the Russian Federation 42 events of business program 2 off-site excursions to environmental and communal infrastructure facilities of St. Petersburg 2

7 Prospects for the development of exposition. International cooperation The most critical environmental problems of cities include first of all, air pollution, water resources, accumulation of household waste. Along with domestic developments in the field of technologies and equipment for environmental protection presented at the exhibition, it is advisable to demonstrate the experience of foreign companies. Over the years, the exhibition successfully involved enterprises of Water Alliance of the Czech Republic. Prospective directions of activities of the exhibitors: The metering devices on the sources of emissions and discharges; Echnologies and equipment for waste recycling/disposal; Equipment, technologies, materials and reagents for water treatment systems; Energy efficient and resource-saving technologies 7

9 20 th International Environmental Forum Baltic Sea Day, March 21 and 22, 2019 A significant event in the process of formation and implementation of environmental policies of 9 countries participants of the Helsinki Convention, the strategic development of the entire Baltic sea region, through the provision of a platform for strengthening national and international relations in the field of environmental protection at different administrative levels and ensuring a high level of involvement in solving urgent issues. The event is held under the aegis of the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM is the governing body of the Convention), the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the Committee for Use of Natural Resources, Environment Protection, and Environmental Safety of the Government of St. Petersburg. This event is also included into the work agenda of the Marine Board under the Government of the Russian Federation. 500 participants from countries of the Baltic Sea region and Europe take part in the event. 9
