4 EXISITING INFRASTRUCTURE ON-SITE EXISTING SITE CAPABILITIES Utility electrical system The campus has one main electrical feeder from National Grid supplying 13,800 volt, to a centralized switch yard, which is then distributed to building specific electrical rooms. Gas The main building and central utility plant are served by a 4 gas line connected to a 4 high pressure main under Otis Street Water The campus has (2) two 8 water supply lines from the town, one of which exclusively services the property s fire protection and life the other for domestic water Water for injection & clean steam The facility has the capability of producing 3,000 gallons per hour of distillate, or 72,000 gallons per day. The entire Mueller MES system utilizes 316L stainless steel piping and components throughout the associated distribution system. Plant steam and condensate The campus utilizes a central high pressure steam plant for building heat, humidification and process related heating requirements for WFI still and clean steam generation. Total capacity of the steam plant is approximately 69,000 lbs of steam per hour operating at 120 PSI. Plant chilled water system Chilled water is supplied throughout the site utilizing a centralized chilled water plant. This system is automated using a tour Andover controls BMS. Major components are 3 centrifugal chillers, 3 cooling tower cells and 2 plate and frame heat exchangers for free cooling operations for temperatures <45º F. The total capacity of the system is 4,150 tons. Compressed air The capacity of the system is 1,380 CFM with an average load of CFM. The two compressed air units have integrated MD dryers on the discharge air stream. Nitrogen Liquid nitrogen is supplied by a 6,000 gallon storage tank (leased). The liquid nitrogen is fed to a dual tower evaporator prior to being diverted to multiple distribution branches. Emergency back-up systems Life safety electrical system kw diesel fuel generator. Simplex fire monitoring &alarm system Simplex 4100U Multi Node fully addressable system. Dual data feeds to the site 100 MB primary and 42 MB secondary Sonnet Ring OC3, with DSL line as back-up. Process waste water neutralization There are 2 ph waste treatment facilities on site. Building 3 The system consisted of a 975 gallon primary holding tank and 945 gallon neutralization tank (currently decommissioned). Building 12 - ph treatment facility consisting of an 800 gallon holding tank which cascades into a 400 gallon treatment tank. The system is designed for 18 GPM of flow.
