2 I. Submittal Requirements: 1. SWPPP (Strm Water Pllutin Preventin Plan)- A SWPPP must be cmpleted, submitted, and apprved by Draper city SWPPP inspectr befre cnstructin begins. A cpy f the SWPPP must be either kept n site at all times during cnstructin r accessible t SWPPP inspectr in electrnic frm. Yu may use a template prvided by the SWPPP inspectr 2. SWPPP Map - SWPPP map may be included as part f Ersin Cntrl r Landscaping Plan. SWPPP map shuld als be included in the appendices f the SWPPP. SWPPP map shuld shw lcatins f BMPs as well as prvide the general cntractrs instructin fr keeping the site free frm trash, sediment trackut, and ther frms f pllutin that may affect the strm drain system. 3. Draper City NOI - Submit a Draper NOI with all ther required drawings and dcuments fr apprval. A cpy f the NOI can be fund at: 4. Cpies f any Federal r State Permits that may be required fr the prject. (E.g. Wetlands, stream alteratin, dewatering, etc.) II. Review/Prvide at the time f initial SWPPP Inspectin: 5. SWPPP Sign must be installed n every cnstructin site within 7 days f when any cnstructin activity is started. Yu may use any existing cnstructin signs as a place t lcate SWPPP infrmatin. Yu must pst a sign near the main entrance f the prject. The sign must include yur SWPPP cntact infrmatin (minimum f a phne number and name), and a cpy f the Draper NOI.. Prject Inspectins A pre-site SWPPP inspectin will be required after initial BMPs have been installed and befre cnstructin may begin. It is required that yu perfrm and dcument yur wn minimum weekly SWPPP inspectins. SWPPP inspectins shuld identify issues yu encuntered n yur site and actins taken t crrect them. A Draper City SWPPP inspectr will perfrm mnthly inspectins f yur site and prvide yu with an inspectin reprt that may include crrective actin items. If crrective actins are issued, a timeframe will be prvided by the Draper City SWPPP inspectr. A fllw-up inspectin will als be required at which time a passing inspectin reprt will be issued t yu upn cmpletin f the crrective actin items described in previus inspectin reprt. A ntice f vilatin, stp wrk rder, revcatin r suspensin f land disturbance permit, revcatin f

3 building permit, r citatin may be issued if issues frm inspectin reprts are nt reslved by the time alltted by the inspectr. A final SWPPP inspectin will be required befre prject terminatin Site shuld have all BMPs remved r BMPs may be left in place if future develpment/cnstructin is t ccur within 14 calendar days after site terminatin. Site stabilizatin shall be cmpleted r stabilizatin respnsibilities shall be passed n t future wners. Owner/peratr will address all cncerns frm SWPPP inspectr befre assciated Land Disturbance r Building permits can be clsed. III. Prject requirements/enfrcement: Ntice f Vilatin-Pursuant t Draper City Cde, failure t cmply with the SWPPP requirements r any City Cde may result in a ntice t crrect, ntice f vilatin, stp wrk rder, revcatin r suspensin f land disturbance permit, revcatin f building permit, r citatin. Applicant shall maintain all strm water management cntrl measures. Site will have gd husekeeping practices up t and including prper trash cllectin and remval; prper dispsal f all cnstructin materials and chemicals; and maintenance f all BMPs.

5 IV. Best Management Practices (BMPs) BMP REQUIREMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. BMP REQUIREMENTS WILL FOLLOW SALT LAKE COUNTY S BMPS STANDARDS & SPECIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT BMPs are defined as structural and nnstructural practices prven effective in sediment and ersin cntrl and management f surface runff int waters f the State. Erding sils and surface water runff transprts pllutants, sediment, and nutrients int lcal rivers, streams, lakes, and aquifers. Certain cnstructin activities may cause mre pllutin if nt prperly manages. Nt all BMPs will apply t every cnstructin site: hwever, all f the suggested BMPs shuld be cnsidered. The City may change any BMP regulatin r requirement, if at any time, the City determines a BMP regulatin r requirement t be ineffective and/r an additinal BMP measure is deemed applicable. The City will ntify prject prpnents f any changes t BMP regulatins r requirements. SPECIAL CONSIDERATION BMPS Washut/cllectin area: The permittee will prvide a cncrete washut area n-site, designate specific washut areas and design facilities t handle anticipated washut water. Lcatin f washut must be shwn n the site map. Washut areas shuld als be prvided fr stucc, dry wall and paint peratins. Because washut areas can be a surce f pllutants frm leaks r spills, all washut waste must be remved frm the lt and prperly dispsed f upn cmpletin f cnstructin. Perimeter cntrl: Installing perimeter cntrls such as sediment barriers, silt fences, cnstructin barriers, dikes, disturbance limit markers r any cmbinatin f such measures shall be used. Perimeter cntrls shall be installed prir t land grading. Silt Fence: Shuld be used where: sheet and sil ersin wuld ccur; prtectin f adjacent prperty r areas beynd the limits f grading; a barrier between any sil disturbance area and hard surfaces draining t a strm drain r water bdy, neighbring prperties, sensitive areas, etc. Off-site sediment tracking: Prevent sediment frm being tracked ff-site by stabilizing a cnstructin entrance/exit. A rck tracking pad can reduce the amunt f mud transprted nt paved rads by vehicles. Clean up f building sites: Building sites shuld be cleaned n a regular basis. Materials shuld be secured n the site t prevent the blwing f debris and garbage. The permittee shall leave the site in a clean cnditin upn cmpletin f cnstructin.

7 2 1 EXAMPLE SWPPP MAP PROPOSED BUILDING SWPPP NOTES-BMPS MUST FOLLOW SPANISH FORK CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS. 1. Tracking pad will be built using 2 -fractured rck as sn as fundatin is back filled. All vehicles will enter the site at this pint 2. Install a 3 curb cut back n the park strip frm prperty line t prperty line as sn as fundatin is back filled 3. Prtable tilet must be placed, prperly anchred, behind the sidewalk r ' away frm curb r edge f asphalt 4. Cncrete wash ut. Designate area and train sub-cntractrs t wash cncrete, stucc and paint in the wash ut area. 5. If using a cncrete pump truck, a water tight cntainer will be placed under the hpper t catch cncrete spills and wash ut water.. Sediment bags. Place bags in the gutter near the dwnstream prperty line and prtect inlets near the cnstructin site. 7. Silt fence r earth berm t be installed perpendicular t the dwnhill slpes.. If necessary, a perimeter cntrl fence will be installed arund the prject t channel access t the site thrugh the tracking pad. 9. Dumpster. Garbage must be cntained and remved regularly 10.
