RATES The following sche e of rates, fees and charges shall be charged M - user, tenant, owner or occupant of each habitable building or structure, and of each buildkg or structure, and of each or industrial purposes and or required to be connected with any of the sewer facilities. METERED RATES First 2,000 gallons used per month $ 6.80 per 1,000 gallons Next 8,000 gallons used per mo!$ 6.14 per 1,000 gallons Next 10,000 gallons used per month $ 5.61 per 1,000 gallons Next 20,000 ga $ 5.27 per 1,000 gallons All over 40,000 gallons used per month $ 4.59 per 1,000 gallons UNMETERED RATES Single Family Living Units $28.95 * Commercial or Industrial Users with 5 or less employees $28.95 * Commercial or industrial users with more than 5 employees s pay, in addition to &e minimum sum, $28.95 per month for each additional 5 employees. *Based on consumption of 4,500 gallons per month MINIMUM CHARGE No bill will be rendered for less than $13.60 per month. 5 ~ ssion STORMWATER SURCHARGE RATES Applicable to all general domestic, commercial and industrial services within the entire territory served. Wherever the District has discovered that a customer s roof drain, downspout, storm sewer facility conducting surface water has been connected to the S Sewer system ustomer has failed to take appropriate action within thty ( of receipt ofa demand by the District in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Public Service Commission to eliminate such connection, a surcharge will be imposed upon the customer ulated on the basis of the following formula: CALCULATED RATE S = A x Rx, x C I A - The area under roof and/or the area of any other water collection surface connected to the sanitary sewer, in square feet S - The surcharge in dollars R - The measured monthly rainfall, in inches A conversion factor to change inches of rain x square feet of surface to thousands of gallons of water (1) C - $6.80 per 1,000 gallons of water calculated per month, which is the existing rate per thousand gallons per month The District shall not impose the surcharge unless and the customer has been notified by certified mail, return receipt requested, or by hand delivery, that it has been established by e testing, dye tes site inspection that rain or surface water is being ed into the sanitary sewer system at the customer s location, and that the customer has not acted within tlurty (30) days from receipt of such notice to divert the water from the sanitary sewer system. The surcharge shall be calculated and imposed for each month that said condition C es to exist.
