5 14 Water is a very important and precious resource. Even though 70% of the earth is covered by water, only 3% is available for human use. It is important to save as much water as we can. The earth s water supply is constantly strained because of the growing number of people and drought. You can help make a difference! Think of how you can conserve water. Share your idea with your teacher, classmates, family, friends and neighbours.
