May 2015 LIST OF AVAILABLE DOCUMENTS

LIST OF AVAILABLE DOCUMENTS Many papers have been prepared on various aspects of Aquatain AMF. In addition, a wide range of material is available on silicones the active component in Aquatain AMF. This paper gives a list of the main documents under relevant headings, as well as a summary of each section.

SECTION 1: ACTIVE INGREDIENT INFORMATION R415 R401 R403 R404 R410 R480 R485 R486 R490 Overview Of Silicones Chemical Characteristics Of Silicones Summary Of Evaluations Of PDMS By International Agencies Heavy Metals Test Report MSDS For Dow Corning PDMS Silicone Declaration Of Origin of Active Ingredient Dow Corning Quality Management System Manufacturing Processes Of Silicones And Aquatain AMF Quality Guarantee Certificate Silicones are used in a wide number of applications in the modern world including industrial uses, cosmetics and even in the food industry. Silicones are inert chemicals which have many characteristics which make them ideal for this current application. They are manufactured by a small number of multinational companies, and quality control systems in their production are very strict. SECTION 2: MANUFACTURING / TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS R405 R406 R460 R461 R462 R475 R465 Aquatain AMF Material Safety Data Sheet Aquatain AMF Technical Data Sheet Certificate of Analysis Aquatain AMF Certificate of Analysis PDMS Silicone Concentration In Aquatain AMF Stability And Shelf Life Report Australia Certificate of Manufacture Aquatain AMF meets all of the requirements of a non-toxic, stable, highly refined and professional product.

SECTION 3: ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS R105 R115 R120 R125 R135 R140 Environmental Fate And Effects of PDMS Fate And Effects of PDMS In Marine Environments Sri Lankan NARA Report Water Quality Report Van De Graaff Degradation of Silicone Polymers In Nature Polydimethylsiloxane Does Not Bioaccumulate Silicones degrade in the environment into harmless silicates the most common element on the earth s crust. They do not bioaccumulate. They are listed as a polymer of low concern by the Australian authorities. SECTION 4: TOXICITY REPORTS R535 PDMS As A Food Additive R205 PDMS Eye Irritancy Report R515 JACC Toxicity Report On PDMS R520 ERMA NZ Toxicology Review of PDMS R525 PDMS Chronic Toxicity Study In Rats R540 General Standards For Food Additives R550 Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 R575 NSF Certification And Toxicology Report R576 BSE-TSE Free Certificate R580 The Physical Action of Monolayer Films R581 How Aquatain AMF Works R590 Impact On Non-Target Species (Extracts From Reports) Many studies have been undertaken on the toxicity of silicones over the past 50 years, and they confirm that there are no significant concerns. Aquatain AMF has also been certified for application to drinking water in the US, after an extensive toxicology report (see NSF Certification report).

SECTION 5: EFFICACY REPORTS R300 R305 R310 R315 R320 R322 R325 R330 R340 R351 R352 R365 R366 R380 R385 R395 Aquatain AMF Summary Of Efficacy Trials Australia Lab Trials Netherlands Lab Trials Singapore Lab Trials Sri Lanka Field Trials Sri Lanka Peradeniya Uni Field Trials Uganda Lab And Field Trials Jamaica Lab And Field Trials Australia Field Trials Argentina Lab Trials Venezuela Lab Trials Kenya Field Trials Kenya Field Trials (LSHTM) South Africa Lab Trials Cuba Field Trials Greece Field Trials Independent trials in many parts of the world have all confirmed the efficacy of Aquatain AMF on different mosquito species. Pupae of all species are killed very quickly (within about 2 hours). Larvae of all species are also killed, but the timeframe is longer for some species than others. However, the end result is the same. Aquatain AMF also impacts on the egg laying characteristics of female mosquitoes: in those trials where this aspect was monitored, no eggs or egg rafts were laid on the treated surface. SECTION 6: COMPARISONS C105 C110 C115 Aquatain AMF vs Agnique Aquatain AMf vs Bti Aquatain AMF And WHO Larvicide Oil Specifications Comparisons between Aquatain AMF and two commonly used larvicides - Agnique (a monolayer product) and Bti (a biological larvicide) show that Aquatain AMF has many advantages over both products. In addition, Aquatain AMF greatly exceeds the specifications for larvicide oils by WHO.

SECTION 7: REGISTRATION INFORMATION R705 Australia Approval R706 Current Australian Approval to June 2015 R710 Free Sale Certificate Australia R715 New Zealand Approval R720 Singapore Approval R725 Malaysia Approval R726 Indonesia Approval R728 Hong Kong Approval R730 Sri Lanka Approval R735 Jamaica Approval R736 Cuba Approval R740 Mexico Approval R745 Uganda Approval R760 Barbados Approval R765 Greece Approval R766 European Union Approval R770 Poland Approval R771 Latvia Approval R775 Portugal Approval R780 Brazil Approval R785 African SAHEL Countries Approval (9 countries) Aquatain AMF is approved for sale in more than 50 countries. Many countries including the European Union - have exempted it from registration, as it does not contain any toxic chemicals. Approval is pending in several other countries not shown in the table.
