FROM THE CEO Sameh Masry Looking at the development and growth of the TAMAS Group of Companies since inception in 1978, I am extremely proud of what we have achieved to date and ever more excited about our future, which is poised to be equally promising. This dynamic development of the Group has facilitated aggressive forward momentum in many areas, capitalizing on solid growth opportunities, improving operational efficiency and sharpening our business portfolio s focus on Infrastructure projects related to the Groups water, wastewater, power and transport activities through TAMAS: Projects; Operation & Maintenance; Construction; Engineering Supplies and Technical Services, Group of Companies. Throughout our 34-year history, we have always strived to strike the right balance and blend of local knowledge with international expertise in all of our business activities in our pursuit of total quality to the entire satisfaction of the Client. This I believe, will stand us in good stead to respond to our Clients future needs and provide us with a stable platform for maximizing the economic, social and environmental returns on the infrastructure solutions and services we deliver. To us, success is not a destination; it is a journey upon which we are focused. 3 WATER & WASTEWATER Pipeline Construction TAMAS provides comprehensive services including but not limited to Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of Water, Wastewater and Storm Water Pipeline Networks. TAMAS ongoing involvement with pipeline construction allows us to develop and deliver the most suitable techniques for deep excavation, dewatering and pipe laying. Furthermore, TAMAS employees are well experienced with ductile cast iron, GRP, UPVC, pipelines and associated structures. Sewerage Pipeline Networks; Drainage Pipeline Networks; Fire-fighting Pipeline Networks; Storm-water Pipeline Networks; Potable Water Pipeline Networks. TAMAS has delivered several water and sewerage pipeline construction projects as for the potable water pipelines & pumping station at Madinat Zayed, Western region, the sewerage pipelines connecting isolated properties in Al Ain City, the replacement of old sewerage pipeline network as well as the relining of damaged pipelines at Mussafah, Abu Dhabi as part of ADSSC program for rehabilitation of sewerage networks and others. 2

4 POWER Transmission & Distribution TAMAS provides turn-key power transmission and distribution construction projects; Accordingly, TAMAS employs the required expertise and further develops their knowledge through extensive training programs to enable us deliver high quality installations. Over the years, TAMAS has delivered several power transmission and distribution projects including diesel power generation, electric substations, primary and secondary cabling and load sharing as at Al Ain for AADC, street & flood lighting as at Abu Dhabi Airport and others. 6 TRANSPORT Traffic Management In the recent years, TAMAS has partnered with a number of globally recognized companies and developed its capabilities to deliver turnkey solutions for road safety and Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITS) across the region. TAMAS has provided, installed and commissioned several ITS for intersection control, central adaptive control, traffic data collection, collision warning and CCTV monitoring as well as a variety of road side installations such as controllers, video detection, radar detection, variable message signs, video surveillance, etc. Local & Central Traffic Control Systems; Variable Message Signs (VMS); Parking Management Systems; Public Transport Management; Data Collection & Publishing; Road Conditions Monitoring; Integrated SCADA Systems; LED Traffic & Street Lighting. TAMAS Traffic Management team offers engineering designs, system integration, installation, project management as well as operation and maintenance for many applications. 8

7 PLANT FACILITIES Treatment Plants & Pumping Stations TAMAS combines its expertise in civil, electrical and mechanical engineering to offer turnkey packages that usually include Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) of plant facilities. We achieve this through detailed valued engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all associated equipment including all related instrumentation, SCADA, Automation, Remote Telemetry Units (RTU) and PLC Systems. TAMAS has delivered several plant facilities over the years, such as Madinat Zayed Water Pumping Station in the Western region, five diesel power plants at Al Ain for AADC and the Rehabilitation of Liwa Palace Power Plant for ADDC and others. 8 BUILDING CONSTRUCTION Industrial & Residential Our construction activities encompass all facets of works associated with residential, industrial and commercial building projects, completed to the highest of standards fulfilling all budget, time, quality and environmental constrains to our clients entire satisfaction. Our staff has also gained wide experience in institutional buildings specifically associated with educational and health care facilities. Our affiliation with top US consultants gives us the capability of handling design, and build total solutions. Construction of villas and high rise residential buildings; Construction of Industrial and commercial buildings; Construction of institutional buildings (Educational and Health Care); Design and build total solutions; Construction management. Over the years, we have developed the necessary skills and organization capabilities to execute projects with state of the art project management methods enhanced by a fully competent engineering team capable of executing the most complex of building structures. 12

9 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE Asset & Facility Management TAMAS O&M activities commenced in early 2000 to meet the client s demand at the time and partnered with major Australian company to offer an international standard service. Since then, TAMAS has undertaking several contracts for operation and maintenance of various facilities including civil, electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. The Company employs a diverse range of qualified personnel equipped with latest technology systems, including CMMS applications that plan, track work orders and capture critical data. Over the years, TAMAS has and continues to operate and maintained the SCADA Control Centre for over 200 sewage pumping stations with their associated electrical substations, odor control systems and over 8000 kilometer of pipeline networks in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain cities. Also, TAMAS has been maintaining the AGL System at Abu Dhabi International Airport. TAMAS Team is committed to providing reliable quality service to our clients on a long term basis.
