2 Who can use CLLEEN Water and Power solutions? CLLEEN Water and Power Solutions are specifically aimed at helping reduce the impact of water used by the oil, gas and mining industries whilst recycling water in an environmentally friendly way. Its other major applications are for desalination of seawater, treatment of brackish, underground water and other industrial wastewater treatment. In a nutshell, CLLEEN Water and Power is literally a CleanTech breakthrough in Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) technology being able to treat water, including toxic waste, seawater, frac water, active and abandoned mine drainage, septage / sewage and industrial waste in an environmentally friendly fashion. Can the CLLEEN range of solutions provide a true 100% recycle or Zero discharge solution? Yes, one example is if the Qi-CLLEEN system is selected, 100% of the water can be recycled with typically 70-85% created as pure water and the balance as EPA approved A grade quality fertilizer meaning it can be used on gardens, lawns etc. This 100% recycling is proving to be extremely attractive to many companies worldwide in the mining, oil, gas, municipal facilities (for sewage or desalination) areas. How is the CLLEEN Water and Power system a CleanTech, green and sustainable water treatment solution? The CLLEEN Water and Power system is self-powered, it does not rely on any fossil fuels, liquid fuel, gas etc to operate. This makes it attractive to remote area locations with the environmental positives of clean energy and sustainability. The CLLEEN Water and Power units are wholly self-contained units that contain multiple MSF distillation chambers that can each produce 25 gallons water per minute. The system is powered by batteries that use a rechargeable DC voltage source, boost inverted to provide 460V / 60Hz / 3phase AC power to the CLLEEN unit. The unit houses a spare DC battery and charger so that when the source battery is depleted, the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) puts the spare into service and the first battery begins recharging.
