4 REGULAR LIGHTING OPTIONS Below are a few of the standard lighting options Switch has to offer: GENERAL/HALL LIGHTING Contrary to what might be expected, most of the wasted power consumed by lighting comes from places such as halls, washrooms, maintenance and other areas rather than from lighting in primary activity areas. With Switch, we review all existing lighting - from inside offices, above storage areas, all the way to the parking lot. Our bottom line is to provide our clients with no-cost lighting solutions; if it doesn t fit the budget or make sense to replace, we won t waste our client s finances or time. If a ballast ever fails, a simple electrical rewiring is done within the fixture to bypass the ballast. To ensure maximum lifetime with minimal maintenance, when first installing the lights we recommend bypassing the ballast and wiring the LED tubes directly to AC. This can easily be done by the on-site maintenance crew, or in as little as 10 minutes, our trusted electricians can do the rewire. Most of the time, this extra labour cost easily fits into the no-cost financing budget for the lighting upgrade.
