21 Quality v Cost We ve heard it all before sorry but you lost out on price, or we went for a cheaper option. While this approach may work when buying some goods, surely competency, training and experience should always be the deciding factors rather than the appeal of the lowest priced Just because a company is not offering the cheapest solution, doesn t necessarily mean you should rule them out straight away; think about the added benefits that the company can give you. For example quality product, experience, good customer care and technical support can be invaluable. 21

22 Quality v Cost You are the expert in your field Demonstrate any technical benefit over cost Value Engineering Not everything has to be Oil & Gas specification A pilot demonstrator plant doesn t need a 20 year design life Sell the value of your solution/product May be more expensive than alternatives on market but what are the intrinsic worth s may give an edge in competitive arena Deliverables and reliability over cost Proven delivery, holder of stock demonstrate lead times We want your expertise to give us the competitive edge 22

23 Thank you for your time 00/00/
