Further deelop a pre-existing basalt quarry used for forest road construction and for DOT emergency projects. Aproxirnately 20k cubic yards remoed since Continued deelopment will progress in phases. Within the proposed 28.6 acre permit area about 15 acres will be disturbed by mining. Deelopment will include remoal of egetation trees, stripping and stockpiling of oerburden, and mining ia blasting. Other associated actiities include crushing and stockpiling of product; at this time the intent is to use portable crusher. The site is accessed off Hwy 12 ia a priate road (see haul road improements). The site will be sequentially reclaimed in manner suitable to re-establish forest land conditions. 12. The quarry floor is approximately 1300 feet from Olier Creek 2) Will the project require any work oer, in, or adjacent to (within 200 feet) the described waters? If yes, please describe and attach aailable plans. no 3) 4) Estimate the amount of fill and dredge material that would be placed in or remoed from surface water or wetlands and indicate the area of the site that would be affected.
