2 BUILDINGS & ENERGY: SCOPES 1 & 2 * VISION 1: Reach 50% reduction in Scopes 1 and 2 from 2006 levels by 2025, and 80% reduction in Scopes 1 and 2 from 2006 levels by VISION 2: Achieve emissions reduction through a two-prong effort including both infrastructure projects and behavioral change. VISION 3: Build an environmentally sound and socially ethical system of consumption on campus. 9 CURRICULA & RESEARCH VISION 1: All students graduating from Barnard are literate in and have worked on climate issues from multiple perspectives in coursework and research. VISION 2: Barnard supports interdisciplinary approaches to climate and sustainability innovation in teaching and scholarship, including fostering civic engagement and supporting a "campus as lab" approach where applicable.
