3 HAZARDOUS WASTE & LAB-PACK DISPOSAL Chemtron has been managing various types of hazardous wastes for its customers since We evaluate your processes, waste generated and develop a specific waste management program to insure your compliance with regulatory agencies. We will assist in the development of a waste minimization program to minimize your waste and disposal costs. We are capable of handling the most difficult waste disposal problems you may encounter, from Lab Packs, contaminated soils and debris, to reactive wastes. Industries Serviced: Metal Working Electronics Hospitals Automotive Government Printing Consulting Engineers Steel Manufacturing Chemical Manufacturing Paint & Coatings For wastes that do not match our current permitted codes, Chemtron has networked with reputable permitted treatment and disposal facilities to insure complete turn-key service of your waste disposal needs. Chemtron has recently expanded its permit to receive over 400 RCRA waste codes allowing for many Lab-Pack items for disposal. (See our current list) Our facility is located in Avon, Ohio and is conveniently accessible from major highways. We will accept containerized wastes and bulk shipments of liquids, sludges, and solids. You can contact our Customer Service Department to discuss your specific needs at (440) or (440) LAB-PACK SERVICES With over 400 hundred RCRA permitted codes, Chemtron has a complete Lab- Pack crew to handle the most difficult chemical disposal. With our newly constructed facility we can safely store, bulk and dispose of these items safely and effectively in the most cost effective manner. Industries serviced: Hospitals Universities Chemical Manufacturers Schools Municipalities Manufacturers As your full service environmental company, allow us to evaluate your Lab-Pack inventory needs. 4 FUEL BLENDING Chemtron Corporation has increased our service capabilities to include fuel blending of various wastes such as: paints, paint filters, paint thinners, wash solvents, contaminated oils, adhesives, various debris, and a host of other wastes. The fuel blending of qualified waste can reduce your liabilities, save money, and insure compliance with the regulatory community. Liquids, sludges, and solids can be blended to meet a specific requirement by a permitted BIF facility, such as a cement kiln. The blended fuel is used for its heat content when introduced into the kiln as a supplement to burning coal. Your wastes then become part of the end product - Cement! Therefore, there is no landfill of the ash, thus minimizing your company s exposure to liability. Chemtron Corporation can evaluate your waste to determine if it qualifies for fuel blending, blends the wastes to the required specification, and secures the services of a permitted BIF Facility. Chemtron Corporation will accept your waste in containers from one pint to 55 gallon drums and bulk shipments. You can contact our Customer Service Department to discuss your specific needs at (440) or (440) Phone (440) or (440) or (800)

5 NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL Chemtron Corporation has developed a non-hazardous waste disposal program which can help you: reduce your costs, insure compliance with the regulatory community, and minimize the liabilities associated with handling documentation and disposal. Your non-hazardous waste may qualify for recycling or as a supplemental fuel as opposed to disposal. We can evaluate your wastes and make recommendations to assist in your disposal decisions. A custom-designed non-hazardous waste management program can be developed to allow for minimal handling, consolidation of small quantities of compatible waste streams, and reduced costs for disposal. Obsolete and unwanted products can be shredded prior to disposal to eliminate the possibility of those products reentering the market. We can provide the proper D.O.T. containers for the accumulation of non-hazardous waste, such as roll-off boxes, sludge boxes, cubic yard boxes, and any other type of approved container. We can perform the required analysis to qualify your wastes for land disposal or treatment. Chemtron Corporation will accept your wastes in containers or bulk shipments. We will assist in the preparation of the necessary shipping documents in addition to arranging transportation of your waste to Chemtron Corporation or to a facility designated by you. This turn-key approach allows you to work with one source to satisfy all of your disposal requirements. You can contact our Customer Service Department to discuss your specific needs at (440) or (440)

6 RECYCLING Chemtron Corporation has built its reputation by recycling chlorinated solvents and fluorinated solvents for re-use since Our thin film evaporator and steam stripping capabilities has allowed Chemtron Corporation the ability to reduce our customers waste disposal costs, comply with the waste minimization requirements mandated by the U.S. EPA, and provide a quality recycled product at substantial savings. Our quality control procedures insure the recycled products to be of the utmost quality for the degreasing of critical components manufactured by the metal working industries and the electronic industries. Our facility will accept both drum and bulk wastes for recycling. We service the small quantity generator, as well as the large quantity generator, with the philosophy of service, quality, and price, backed by our technical services department to insure the quality your company requires. Chemtron Corporation also accepts the following for recycling: mercury spill clean-up debris such as sponges, gloves, mercury wipes, used Hg absorb powder, broken glassware and thermometers, pressure gauges, gastric dilators, mercury metal, mercury batteries, and in-glass devices such as switches and ignitron tubes. Treatability studies will also be performed for any mercury contaminated waste streams. Chemtron Corporation helps you with your mercury problems. You can contact our Customer Service Department to discuss your specific needs CONSUMER COMMODITY DISPOSAL At Chemtron, we recognize the importance companies place on product liability and minimizing that liability through environmental compliance. Chemtron handles drums, pallets, bulk tankers, and roll-off boxes. Our programs help identify the best available disposable methods in the most efficient and economical way. There are a variety of disposal methods. They are: Shredding and stabilization Fuels blending Waste-to-energy Recycling Treatment Incineration With our one facility concept, all waste materials arrive at our facility, thus eliminating your use of multiple disposal vendors. We are confident with our hands-on approach, that we can design a program that will be cost effective and give you the peace of mind you deserve. Secure your unwanted products with us. Call us today! This division provides analytical support for Chemtron Corporation and for other organizations including government agencies, industrial facilities, and other analytical laboratories. Our analytical capabilities encompass both environmental and industrial analysis. ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS includes EPA and NIOSH analytical methods for solids, air, and water. EPA methods are used to determine whether waste materials are hazardous or non-hazardous, if stack emissions meet discharge limits, water discharges meet regulatory limits. NIOSH methods are utilized to determine whether employee exposures meet regulatory levels. INDUSTRIAL ANALYSIS includes analysis of solid, air, and water for quality control, process control, and problem solving. We are unique in that we use instrumental methods, classical methods, ASTM methods, or a combination of these methods in order to generate correct results. In many situations, results are used to solve environmental and/or processing problems. Pictured on this page are instruments such as GC, GC/MS, IR, ICP which in combination with classical methods, are used to do complete identification of unknowns, alloy analysis, air analysis, water analysis etc. We also use a combination of techniques to verify our results in order to generate corrected data to address our clients specific needs.
