5 Monitoring for Clean Water Act Timeframe CWA Requirement Objective Integrated Report Due April 1 st of even number years (e.g. 2002, 2004) 40 CFR 130.8(b)(2) and 130.8(b)(1) Section 314(a)(1)(F) Section 303(d) 305(b) Reporting. The primary assessment of state water quality; leads to the development of water quality management plans. Clean Lake Report. State reports on the status and trends of water quality in lakes 303(d) List. State identifies waters that are impaired; causes and sources of impairment, prioritizes waters targeted for TMDL development Nonpoint Source Grants Report Quality Assurance TMDL Groundwater Reporting Permitting Required annually Ongoing Ongoing Ongoing Ongoing Section 319(h)(11) 40 CFR Section 303(d) N/A Inspection Reports The State reports on the activities, summary of projects, environmental accomplishments, federal consistency, status of grants, reductions in nonpoint source loadings. Water quality monitoring included in 305(b) report. Ensures reliability of the procedures used to obtain data for all reports. The TMDL section prepares a report identifying the cause(s) and source(s) of the impairment, the amount of each pollutant that comes from point sources and nonpoint sources, the background or natural component of the pollutant is also quantified, allocation of reduction and establishment of endpoints. Utah Geological Survey Aquifer Classification Reports (DWQ reviews), Water- Resources Investigation Reports (Prepared by USGS with cooperation of the DWQ). Uniform Enforcement Oversight System (UEOS) Report
