11 Extract of the guidelines Topic K: Energy efficiency and Renewable Energies K1) We want the district of Ebersberg to become independent of fossil and other finite energy carriers by the year In order to reach this aim, we will implement measures for energy saving and use a broad range of renewable energy sources.... K2) We will support households, craftsmen, agriculture and forestry as well as medium-sized enterprises in developing and using innovative technologies. K3) We will create the needed organisational preconditions for professional information, consulting and coordination of the activities related to the energy turn-around in the district.

12 The model approach of a process Definition of a vision for a specific area and a specific period of time A strategy Analysis of the regional potentials, strengths and weaknesses focused on the production, distribution and use of energy as well as on rational use of energy / energy saving Definition of clear targets Definition of concrete activities and projects shining examples

13 The process in the district of Ebersberg Definition of a vision for a specific area and for a specific period of time The district of Ebersberg has the aim to be independent of fossil and other finite energy sources by the year In order to reach this aim, the district will implement measures for saving energy and for increasing the use of renewable energies
