2 Page: 2/7 4. First-aid measures General information: Take the affected workers out of the danger area and lie them down. Remove all contaminated or soiled clothing immediately. After inhalation: Supply fresh air. If suffering from irregular breathing or respiratory arrest, apply artificial respiration. Call a doctor immediately. After skin contact: Wash off with copious amounts of water. Consult a doctor immediately, as untreated burns will lead to wounds that will t heal well. After eye contact: Rinse carefully with copious amounts of water, including underneath the eyelids. Consult an eye doctor immediately. After swallowing: Rinse mouth with water and drink plenty of water. Never pour anything into the mouth of someone who is unconscious. DO NOT induce vomiting. Call a doctor immediately. Information for the doctor: If swallowed, it has a strong corrosive effect on the mouth and throat. There is also the danger of perforating the oesophagus and stomach. 5. Fire-fighting measures Suitable extinguishing agents: Use fire-fighting measures that suit the environment. The product itself is t flammable. Particular fire-fighting dangers: Can decompose in fires through the formation of poisous gases. Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of a fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing (full protection suit). Additional information: Use water spray to cool sealed containers close to source of fire. Collect contaminated fire-fighting water separately. Must t enter drains or sewers. 6. Accidental release measures Person-related safety precautions: Wear personal protective equipment. Avoid skin and eye contact. Measures for environmental protection: Do t allow to enter drains, sewers or surface water. If water courses or the drains are polluted, inform the relevant authorities.
