18 Mitigation Measures (cont d) Environmental Measures Most cuttings shall be collected and transferred to shore for disposal. Tophole cuttings from 100-m drilling cannot be brought to rig floor, then the cuttings will be mound and spread at the seabed. Food waste shall be ground before discharge overboard. Other wastes shall be segregated and collected in proper containers before transferring to shore for disposal.
19 Mitigation Measures (cont d) Social Measures Arrange meeting(s) to notify stakeholder(s) exact project schedule at least a month ahead of time. Avoid drilling during high season of tourism from December to April. Compensate for damaged fishing gears at fair rate with agreement among fishermen, concerned government agencies, and Company.
