14 City s Water System Water pressure - minimum of 20 psi per AWWA recommendations. Water system is designed to fight structure fires. Fire flows - designed for one fire hydrant to flow 750 gpm for two hours on a maximum-daydemand.

16 Upper Tunnel Zone Water Storage: Tunnel Reservoir (million gallon capacity) and hydro-pneumatic tank were constructed in the mid-1970's. 100 kw emergency generator w/ automatic transfer switch. 675 gallon diesel fuel tank for up to 66 hours of run time. Monitored by SCADA for reservoir level, pressure, chlorine levels, and emergency backup power. Water main diameters primarily range between 6 and 12 inch diameters. System maintenance includes annually flushing the fire hydrants and cleaning the reservoir.

Installed a mixing system Mission Cyn Rd/Paseo Del Ocaso Water Main Improved water delivery and added two fire hydrants
