This manual includes the content and details pertaining to the installation, use and maintenance, so please read and follow the instructions in this installation guide before users install and use the system. Please keep this manual properly. I. PRODUCT FEATURES Introduction to Features This product takes the municipal tap water as the raw water, and its effluent water quality is in line with the requirements of Specification on the Hygienic Safety and Function Assessment of the Processor of Drinking Water - General Water Processor (2001). The Pre-filter is a device which filters the household water supply system, which is usually installed in the inlet of the system. Users usually install a pre-filter behind the water meter of the inlet to protect the safety and cleanliness of the downstream piping and equipment of the system. The pre-filter is compact in structure, easy to operate, and can be installed in space-constrained areas. The transparent protective cover with high strength is applied in this product, allowing users to view the work of the pre-filter and to clearly see whether there are external impurities blocked by the pre-filter, which enable users to see the process of maintenance and washing clearly. The special structure of maintenance, washing and drainage can effectively remove the impurities blocked by the pre-filter. (2001) -1-

3 The filter is made of the special SUS16 stainless steel mesh, continuously wound and woven by machine, and it is also easy to clean and durable. The special hydraulic adjustment function can effectively solve the damage caused by high water pressure or pressure instability on the household water supply piping and water equipment under special circumstances. (Note: This feature is only applicable for Type Pf200) SUS16 ( PF200 ) Introduction to Major Components 1. Filter housing: composed of a filter bowl of PC material and copper filter elements, with a service life of 10 years. 2. INSTALLATION STEPS Installation Notes: This product is recommended for a professional installation. 1. The installer shall check whether all parts are complete and proper before installing

6 2. This product is not suitable to be installed outdoors, and shall keep away from ultraviolet light, heat, fuel, and various chemicals as far as possible. It shall be protected from frost crack, so when the ambient temperature is below 5, you shall take protective measures for the filters.. When winding the raw material belt, you need to wind sufficiently and uniformly. 4. When tightening the hexagonal nut with a wrench, you need to ensure that other components will not rotate with it. 5. You shall carefully observe for leaks or leakages after the installation is completed. 6. When installing this device, you shall observe the right direction of the system water flow! Make sure that the flow direction in the pipeline is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the filter body during the installation In all the installation, maintenance and schematic diagrams in this manual, Toobi 200 is taken as the example, unless otherwise stated. The schematic diagram is for reference only, and please adhere to the actual product instead. 200 This product is for household pre-filter or water protection, and is usually installed behind the main inlet valve or meter (as shown in Figure ). The following installation instructions take the installations of PPR pipe connecting road as an example. If the household water pipes are connected by metal hard pipes, you need external detours according to the actual situation. ) PPR ( -5-

7 Step One First, determine the installation position according to product size (reserving H 200mm height for sewage). Close the water valve as shown in Figure and open the household tap and let water out. Then use a pair of scissors to cut a PPR pipe with a length of 200~250mm in the installation position and use this pipe to install the product. Note that you shall take over the remaining water with a container as shown in Figure. ) PPR 200~250mm ( H 200mm H Step Two As shown in Figure, melt the PPR pipe end and fitting B with the PPR pipe welding machine A (with /4" PPR hot melt fittings internally threaded), and weld the other end of the cut PPR pipe in the same way. 8 Step Three As shown in Figure, assemble the six points threaded union and the hex nut in the machine components. Fully wind the external thread of the six points union with raw material belt, and then screw the wound joint assembly and the heat welded joints at one end, as shown in Figure. Handle the other end in the same way (Please use wrench to tighten screw). ) ( Step Four Use a wrench to tighten two sealing gaskets and both ends of threaded union assembly in the annex. Note that you shall keep the direction of water flow and the direction of the arrow on the pre-filter product in consistency, as shown in Figure. Step Five Slowly open the inlet valve, and when the household tap water is effluent, close all the outlets. Note that you shall check whether there are water leaks or slow seepages between the connect of various components in the pre-filter product. You can open and close the drain valve to outlet water repeatedly for careful observation. If there is any leakage or seepage, you shall check whether the area is tightened immediately. -7-

9 V. USE AND MAINTENANCE METHODS 1. After the installation is completed, when the user opens the inlet valve and closes the drain valve, the pre-filter will start working properly. 2. After the pre-filter has been working for some time, the user can clearly see the impurities filtrated by the filter screen through the transparent filter cartridge. At this time, if the accumulated impurities affect the water outlet quantity and pressure of the household water equipment, you can clean the filter of the prefilter machine. The user can open the drain valve to wash it. Tip: It is recommended that you shall wash at least once every two months, and the washing frequency can be increased according to the actual situation.. When there are accumulated impurities with viscosity on the filter, or impurities embedded in the filter, and they cannot be cleaned with normal cleaning methods, and affect the water outlet and pressure of the household water equipment, you can use the accessory wrench to remove the transparent cylinder and remove the filter assembly. Then you can use cleaning solution or a brush to clean the impurities on the filter (Note: Do not clean the filter with strong acid or alkali cleaning fluid). Put the clean filter assembly back into the transparent cylinder assembly and tighten the cylinder and copper pieces with a wrench after the cleaning is completed ) ( VI. PRECAUTIONS To avoid injury or property damage that might be caused to you or someone else, you must read and observe the following safety precautions before using the product! 1. Do not use other components without permission of manufacturers, and if thus causing the machine malfunction, the warranty will be terminated automatically. 2. Please check whether the product is damaged and whether the components are complete after the unpacking;. Children and the incapacitated shall use this product under supervision of a guardian; 4. This product is mainly used for the pre-filter of domestic water and drinking water (municipal water supply); ( ) -8-

10 5. This product is not suitable to be installed outdoors or placed under direct sunlight to prevent freezing or water temperature above 40 ; 6. It shall be protected from the following damage, such as collision, freezing, overheating, chemical exposure, hammering and so on; 7. Pay attention to protecting the integrity of the components in the normal process of cleaning and maintaining. 8. Treatment methods of no use for a long time: a. No special treatment is needed for shortterm deactivation. b. If you travel for stop using for a long time, please turn off the influent water. The next time you start to use, you must clean it before normal use. VII. Whether the water inlet valve is fully open. The expected value of the output pressure is not set. Check whether the filter is clogged partly. Fail to install according to proper flow direction. The filter is seriously clogged. The valve accessory, gasket or edge is damaged. The downstream devices of the product cause increased water pressure. Fully open the inlet valve. Re-set the outlet pressure. Clean the filter. Install the machine according to the flow direction. Clean the strainer. Replace the pressure control assembly. Check valve, safety valve and other devices. Water leaks outward from the spring cover. The diaphragm within the valve core fails to work. Replace the valve core. -9-
