Scope of operational boundary chosen: a. Description of Scope 1 Direct Emissions Activities included: Direct emissions from all the vehicles owned by the reporting entity; and Direct emissions from combustion of Towngas within all the above chosen physical boundaries. Activities excluded due to inaccessibility of relevant information/data: Direct emissions from all the goods vehicles, tractors and trailers of our outsourcing logistic company providing us with delivery and transportation services of our chemicals, paints, vanishes and other related packing materials, items, documents and things; Direct emissions from all our company vehicles outside Hong Kong; and Direct emissions during the use of refrigeration equipment and air conditioners at the all the company vehicles outside Hong Kong in the above chosen physical boundaries. b. Description of Scope 2 Energy Indirect Emissions Activities included: GHG Emission from the purchasing of electricity from power companies in HK; and p. 3 / 9

Quantification Methodologies The simplified quantification approaches together with the corresponding conversion factors, working procedures and worksheets published by the EMSD and EPD as reported in Guidelines to Account for and Report on Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals for Buildings (Commercial, Residential or Institutional Purposes) in Hong Kong 2010 Edition were adopted in this report. 7. Information on GHG Emissions The summary of the GHG emissions of the reporting entity within the reporting period is shown in Table 1 below. For more details, refer to APPENDIX. Electricity saving opportunities at office Based on Table 1 and APPENDIX III, it was observed that one of the physical boundaries contributing most to the GHG emissions was the headquarter office of the reporting entity situated at 31/F., CNT Tower, Wanchai. Taking the practices of office operation as well as types and amount of electrical appliances being used in the said office in consideration of electricity saving opportunities, the following feasible measures are suggested: p. 4 / 9

5 Carbon Audit Report 2013 (r B) to encourage all colleagues to turn off all unused electrical appliances (including PCs and monitors, fluorescence tubes, fan-coil air-conditioners) before leaving; to replace all the existing around 200 T8 fluorescence tubes with T5 tubes; and to replace all the existing around 70 halogen lamps with LED lights; b. Fuel saving opportunities for vehicles According to Table 1, above 40% of the total GHG emission was generated from Scope 1 Direct Emission of the vehicle use of the reporting entity. In order to further reduce the GHG emission, the following feasible measures are suggested: to encourage all colleagues to use public transport; to remind all colleagues to switch off when idling; and to consider hybrid cars when purchasing new ones. 9.
