Still the core business consists of engineering but also procurement, production, integration and testing of a wide range of Auxiliary Systems, stretching from compressor packaging, base plates, lube oil systems, liquid fuel systems, gas fuel systems and ignition gas systems to gas seal panels, accessory modules and pressure vessels. Main Engineering is developed in Italy, in the headquarter (Avigliana) and in the Firenze office; we count on more than 20 people (project engineers, electrical engineers, draftsmen), and also we have established an outsourced chain for calculation and extra draftsmen team to leverage the project needs. Modular design reducing field installation and equipment transportation costs. Since its beginning, FFS primary product has been lube oil systems. Our particular strength is API 614 Standard (ISO 10438) special purpose oil systems, with vast experience in API 614 part 3, general purpose oil system and non-api lubricating oil consoles. With hundreds of oil systems currently in service, FFS has worked with specifications of nearly every major Petrochemical, Power Generation, and Air Separation company worldwide.

7 P r o d u c t s The Fuel Forwarding Skid along with its Fuel Management Spool and Injection and Metering units provides the turbine with liquid fuel at proper flow and pressure. Typically the Fuel Forwarding Skid includes dual pumps and an electric heater, and the Fuel Management Spool includes a pressure control valve and an EPA certified flow meter. FFS has manufactured numerous liquid fuel packages for various customer and end users world wide. The skids simple design and component standardization allows for cost reductions while improving quality. Water Injection Skids are used to reduce polluting emission during operation on liquid fuel. The purpose of these systems is to lower NOx levels in gas turbine exhaust. Systems include high-pressure centrifugal pumps, simple or duplex filters, and various instruments to measure pressure, flow, and temperature of the water. FFS has designed and manufactured water injection skids for use at power generation facilities around the world. Several packages have been combined with Fuel Injection Systems (including atomization air), providing a single, combined package. This provides a more efficient package in terms of both manufacturing and field installation. We create tailor made packages and skids engineered to customer specifications, compliant with international standards (e.g. ASME, API, ATEX).

8 P r o d u c t s A Gas Seal Panel is designed to supply seal and buffer gas to the shaft seals of various rotating compressors, providing containment of these process gases. The panel includes filters, pressure/flow control valves and various instruments to condition, control, and monitor the gas into and out of the dry gas seals. Arranging all of the instruments in one location near the compressor package simplifies the mechanical, process piping and electrical installation. The popularity of dry gas seals has increased the need for Gas Seal Panels over the years. The need to reduce cost while maintaining safety and accessibility has lead to many innovations in panel design and construction. FFS's open-frame concept allows for easy process monitoring and maintenance. The flow and pressure requirements of each seal system, the corrosive or explosive nature of the gas, and each customer's technical specifications provide every panel with unique challenges. Compressor and Turbine blades cleanliness can be maintained using a routine program of Water Washing. There are two water wash sequence performed on gas turbines: offline and online. The two operations use two different level of water spray atomization patterns designed to completely enter the compressor core. The offline process cleans the entire core and recovers lost performance, while the online cleans the early stages and maximizes the time period between needed between offline washing to provide peak availability.
