9 Re-cap WMIS 2006 Overall diversion has been increasing however organics diversion is increasing at a higher rate Organics is increasing its share of diversion Alberta, British Columbia and Nova Scotia have higher than average organics diversion per capita 9

10 The Household Environment Survey Background HES Measures the behaviours and practices of households in the context of the environment 2006 was first year since 1994 Several themes covered on the survey Conducted every two years 10
