Hydrography Maritime Danube in spring 2015 AFDJ finalized a complete hydrographic survey on Sulina Canal (about 70 km) base on this survey we updated the ENC cells with position of groins in autumn 2015 AFDJ performed hydrographic survey on the whole Chilia arm between - fairway and Romanian bank the last similar hydrographic survey was conducted in 2005 for border treaty with Ukraine. survey from autum will be used for Chilia IENC, and for the RIS Index for Chilia arm

Hydrology Gauge station monitoring of water level In present we have 23 gauges in which we measure level and water temperature This date are publish on administration site and with help of NtS standard this date are also send to Using a web-service develop on NEWADA duo projects water level are available also on FIS portal

Hydrology Automatic sensor for monitoring of water level In 5 location Tulcea, Isaccea, Galati, Braila and Harsova are mounted automatic sensor for water level and water temperature. This sensor provide date on a interval of 6 hour.

Hydrology Automatic sensor for monitoring of water level In other 8 location Gruia, Cetate, Calafat, Bechet, Corabia, TurnuMagurele Zimnicea, Giurgiu was mounted automatic sensor for water level and water temperature in IRIS and NEWADA projects In future we want to collect date from all automatic sensor in one application A new feasibility study was done for for Rehabilitation and Extension of the Hydro-meteo Stations for Romanian sector HyQ project

Inland ECDIS ENC Official charts producer for the entire Romanian Inland Waterways based on Ministry of Transport Order No. 1057/2007. Charts are for use with Inland Electronic Chart Display and / or Information Systems (ECDIS). ENCs are according to the Inland ECDIS standard 2.1. Free of charge Inland ENCs on Available on portal under section webecdis base on user rights A new edition are under development This should respect Inland ECDIS 2.3

BORD Name: Creation of a support system for hydrographical works on the Danube meant to assure minimum navigation depths Overall Objective of the project is to improve the safety of navigation of the Danube, in compliance with the European Directives and the Danube Commission's recommendations. Specific Objective: setting in place a network of geodesic landmarks in support of the topo-hydrographical works on the Danube, for the monitoring of the minimum navigation depths and the improvement of fairway maintenance activities (floating and costal signalling, topo-hydrographic surveys, dredging). Aim of the project: to create a network of geodesic landmarks along the Romanian Danube sector, the Danube-Black Sea Canal and Poarta Alba - Midia - Navodari Canal, network to be used for the river bed dynamics monitoring and meant to provide exact data for the realisation of accurate ENCs

a total of 144 locations with 3 landmarks each location a distance of around 10 km between locations BORD one location have 3 types of landmarks: one reference, one witness, and one azimuthal lot 1: CDMN PAMN =12 loc lot 2: Delta = 22 loc lot 3 Galati Calarasi = 36 loc lot 4 Calarasi Ostrovul Mare = 52 loc lot 5 Izvorul Frumos Bazias = 21 loc

SF Sulina Name: Feasibility Study for bank protection on the Sulina Channel - Final Round Overall Objective of this project is the feasibility study for the Sulina canal bank protection in order to improve water transport infrastructure on the Danube. Specific Objective: consists in determining the remaining work necessary to achieve the Sulina canal to improve water transport infrastructure and protecting the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and through all the stages leading up to obtain financing works. Project is the preliminary stage for design and execution of works for calibration banks of Sulina Canal will complete drafting specifications and financing application for the design and execution results.

Activities : SF Sulina Topographic and hydrographic survey of Sulina Canal banks in the areas proposed for analysis. Making a hydromorphological 2D mathematical model on Sulina Canal and use the model to study the existing shore protection works and future one. Inventory of existing shore embankments, groins and breakwaters on the Sulina Canal. Geological, geomorphological and geotechnical synthesis study on sectors where are not sufficient information Analysis of the technical and proposals solution

HyQ Danube Name: "Feasibility Study for Rehabilitation and Extension of the Hydro-meteo Stations Network for Maintenance of Navigational Conditions on the Danube River in Romania" To ensure and improve the safety of navigation conditions on the Romanian sector of the Danube by providing current hydrological data in real time to users and exchange of hydrological data; Existing network 23 stations; Future network 64 locations, additional sensors discharge, sediment, visibility, waves. Finalized : end of 2015;

FAIRway Danube The main goal of the Global Project is to implement the "Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan of the Danube and its navigable tributaries" The aim of the Master Plan is to reach and ensure good navigation conditions throughout the year by providing a minimum level of service. Elaborate coordinated national action plans for the deployment of the "Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan". Procure the necessary equipment to carry out pilot activities for hydrological services in the five concerned countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia); Allow the identification of innovative approaches for fairway rehabilitation and upgrade. Prepare documentation for implementation of future selected measures that further support the deployment of the "Fairway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Master Plan".

FAST Danube Name: "Technical Assistance for Revising and Complementing the Feasibility Study Regarding the Improvement of Navigation Conditions on the Romanian-Bulgarian Common Sector of the Danube and Complementary Studies" Improving the navigation along the Romanian-Bulgarian common section of the Danube (river km to river km 375); Developing an integrated approach in the Danube by increasing navigation avoiding unexpected negative impact on the river system and ecology; Supporting modal split by fostering the use of inland waterway transport.
