2 Preparing samples for extraction by cutting the samples into small particles, testing samples for balistain to determine the solvent for extracting the sample with, weighing the required amount of samples for extraction, evaporating flask, drying flask, and reweighing flask for the extractable contents. Reporting % extractable if requested by clients. Diluting the samples extractable for GC/MS analysis. Reporting all results. Gas Permeability: Preparing samples for Gas Permeation using the requested gas and temperature. Recording readings and reporting results. Water Vapor Transmission (Water Method & Desiccant Method) Preparing samples for testing in a controlled chamber at the requested temperature and % relative humidity. Recording data for up to a month and report results. X-ray Fluorescence. Summit Environmental Technologies Cuyahoga Falls, OH September 2011-December 2015 Laboratory Technician o Toxicity Characteristics Leaching Procedure Department: Determined the mobility of both organic and inorganic analyst present in liquid, solid, and multiphasic waste by extracting samples using plastic and/or glass jars for metals and extraction analysis and used Zero Head Space to extract samples for volatiles. My first three months of working in this department, I had dedicated myself and time to be a successful lab technician by using my experience in problem-solving and by communicating with the QC Department to avoid the loose of the department certification. My successful work promoted me to be the head of the department, and I had been given the opportunity to transform the department according to the QC standards by doing the following: With the hands of two employees the company hired, I rearranged the setup of the lab to make it look more professional and clean environment work place. Revised the lab SOPs according to the EPA method Working with QC, we revised all log books related to the TCLP Department to show accuracy in logging data entries and calibrations of instruments according to the method.

3 Reviewed the different types of extraction fluids preparation used in the lab. Communicated with other lab supervisors by providing them with to do lists of extracted samples and maintained the accuracy of samples distributions. o Wet Chemistry Department My third year, the management moved me to fill a position in this department to get certified to perform the following tests: Standard Method 2540D (Total Suspended Solids) for drinking and waste water. Standard Method 2540C (Total Dissolved Solids) on drinking and waste water. Standard Method 4500-NC (Semi Micro Kjeldahl Method) or TKN by preparing drinking and waste water and solids samples by digesting, distilling samples, and then read them using ammonia probe. Standard Method 4500 for NH3 and N. Used a spreadsheet in the OMEGA System to enter results for calculations and reporting. o Oil Department: Six months of experience in this department. I performed the following tests: Determined Flash Points of Oil and Solid samples by using the proper equipment. Prepared Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCBs) for further analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC). Performed ash analysis on oil and/or solid samples by taking the proper weight and putting them in a furnace to burn at 800⁰ C. British Thermal Unit (BTU) test for oil and solid samples; weighed the proper weight and ran them in the BTU machine and entered results using OMEGA System spreadsheet. o Metals Department: Six months of experience in the Metals Department. I performed the following preparation methods: Method 3005A: Acid Digestion of Waters for Total Recoverable or Dissolved Metals for further analysis by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (FLAA) or by the Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma Spectroscopy (ICP). Method 3010A: Acid Digestion of Aqueous Samples and Extracts for Total Metals for Analysis by FLAA or ICP Spectroscopy. Cloverland Green Spring Dairy:
