Emergency Tel # Refer to supplier SECTION 2 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Manufacturer s name and address Refer to Supplier Classification WHMIS information This product is a WHMIS Controlled Product. It meets one or more of the criteria for a controlled product provided in Part IV of the Canadian Controlled Products Regulations (CPR). WHMIS classification Class C (Oxidizing Material) Class D2B (Materials Causing Other Toxic Effects, Toxic Material). Emergency Overview Gray to dark pink granuales. Warning! Contains oxidizers, which may increase the burning rate of combustible materials with flare-burning effect. May cause moderate to severe skin irritation. Causes severe eye irritation. Ingestion of large amounts may cause stomach irritation. Inhalation of mist causes irritation of respiratory system. Prolonged skin contact may defat the skin and produce dermatitis. POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS Signs and symptoms of short-term (acute) exposure Inhalation Skin Eyes Inhalation of fumes or mists may cause irritation to the nose, throat and upper respiratory tract. May cause moderate to severe skin irritation. Symptoms may include redness and possibly blistering, if product is left on the skin. Direct contact causes severe irritation and possibly eye injury Ingestion Ingestion of large amounts may cause stomach irritation. Symptoms may include pain, nausea and vomiting. Effects of long-term (chronic) exposure Chronic exposure may cause dermatitis. Carcinogenic status See TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION, Section 11. Additional health hazards See TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION, Section 11. Potential environmental effects See ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION, Section 12. SECTION 3 - COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS CAS # Wt.%

If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention. Remove contaminated clothing. Flush affected skin with gently flowing lukewarm water for at least 20 minutes. If irritation or symptoms develop, seek medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Immediately flush eyes with running water for at least 20 minutes. Get medical attention immediately. Seek medical attention. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth if victim is unconscious. Treat symptomatically. SECTION 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Fire hazards/conditions of flammability Not flammable under normal conditions of use. May intensify fire; oxidizer. Oxidizing properties Contains oxidizers, which may increase the burning rate of combustible materials. Explosion data Sensitivity to mechanical impact / static discharge Not expected to be sensitive to mechanical impact or static discharge. Suitable extinguishing media Use media suitable to the surrounding fire such as water fog or fine spray, alcohol foams, carbon dioxide and dry chemical. Special fire-fighting procedures/equipment Firefighters should wear proper protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus with full face piece operated in positive pressure mode. Move containers from fire area if safe to do so. Water spray may be useful in cooling equipment exposed to heat and flame. Hazardous combustion products Potassium oxides; Nitrogen oxides; Carbon oxides; phosphorus oxides; Oxygen. SECTION 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal precautions Environmental precautions Spill response/cleanup Prohibited materials Restrict access to area until completion of clean-up. Ensure clean-up is conducted by trained personnel only. Individuals involved in the cleanup must wear appropriate personal protective equipment. For personal protection see section 8. Ensure spilled product does not enter drains, sewers, waterways, or confined spaces. Remove all sources of ignition. Ventilate area of release. Stop the spill at source if it is safe to do so. Cover any spilled material with non-combustible absorbent material, such as vermiculite or sand, then place absorbent material into a container for later disposal (see Section 13). Use methods that do not generate dusts. Notify the appropriate authorities as required. None known. SECTION 7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE Safe Handling procedures Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear suitable protective equipment during handling. Do not breathe vapours or spray mist. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep away from extreme heat and flame. Keep away from acids and incompatibles. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

3 MSDS Preparation Date (mm/dd/yyyy) 01/03/2014 Page 3 of 7 Storage requirements Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from incompatible materials. Storage area should be clearly identified, clear of obstruction and accessible only to trained and authorized personnel. Inspect periodically for damage or leaks. No smoking in the area. Incompatible materials Metals; haloforms; Strong acids, bases and oxidizing or reducing agents. Special packaging materials Always keep in containers made of the same materials as the supply container. SECTION 8 - EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION Exposure Limits ACGIH TLV OSHA PEL TWA STEL PEL STEL 10 mg/m³ (fume) 20 mg/m³ (fume) Ammonium phosphate 10 mg/m³ (inhalable fraction) 15 mg/m³ (total dust); 5 mg/m³ (respirable fraction) Ventilation and engineering measures General mechanical ventilation is sufficient for use with this product. Local exhaust ventilation is preferred to prevent contaminant dispersion into work area. Respiratory protection Respiratory protection is required if the concentrations exceed the TLV. Use a NIOSH approved dust respirator if dust levels exceed exposure limits. Advice should be sought from respiratory protection specialists. Skin protection Wear gloves impervious to this material. Advice should be sought from glove suppliers. Eye / face protection Chemical splash goggles must be worn when handling this material. Other protective equipment General hygiene considerations Wear long sleeved clothing, such as a lab coat, to prevent skin contact. An eyewash station and safety shower should be made available in the immediate working area. Do not breathe fumes, mists or vapours. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Upon completion of work, wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or use of toilet facilities. Remove soiled clothing and wash it thoroughly before reuse.
