2 Energy Saving For conventional air-conditioning unit, the compressor will be running at the maximum frequency all the time. This requires a lot of energy and subsequently, it gives the user high electricity bills. With the AMSV series, user can now enjoy cooling comfort without paying high energy premiums. The inverter compressor is programmed to run at the optimum speed. The speed of compressor is controlled by input frequency that varies according to the indoor heat load requirements. Once the indoor set temperature is achieved, the input frequency supply to the compressor will be reduced. Hence, less energy is required to maintain the unit operation and this will consume less energy as compared to conventional units. Conventional Energy Saving AC Inverter Precise & Stable Temperature Control For conventional air-conditioners system, the compressor stops when the set temperature is achieved. When the room temperature rises to a certain degree, the compressor will start again. The start and stop cycles of the compressor causes the room temperature to be unstable and fluctuates across the set temperature. With the advanced fuzzy logic control technologies incorporated in the AMSV inverter series, the inverter air-conditioner system is able to offer a comfortable environment by maintaining a band of constant temperature. Thus, the inverter system offers fast cooling features which is unmatched by conventional systems.

This method of controlling the compressor is not recommended as frequent starting and stopping the compressor motor will increase wear and tear. As a result, this will shorten the compressor lifespan. For the AMSV inverter series, the cut-in and cut-out method is not employed to control the compressor. Once the unit is started, the compressor rotation speed is steadily ramp up or down base on heat load requirement throughout the operation. This control method gives the compressor motor a smooth operation. It helps to reduce the wear and tear of the compressor motor. In the long run, the life span of compressor is increased. Low Starting Current Taking advantage of the ability to modulate the compressor speed, the AMSV inverter models is designed to operate with soft start feature. The compressor motor will not draw high current during start up. Unlike conventional air conditioner systems, where the situation of high starting ampere will occur each time the compressor motor starts to operate. Current Limit Selection In application whereby there is a limit on the maximum operating current allowed for air conditioners, the AMSV series comes with a Current Limit Selection Switch that permits the setting. During operation, the outdoor unit operating current will be monitored. The inverter module will maintain the operating current below the selected current limit. If the current is too high, the inverter controller will reduce the compressor running speed in order to achieve operating current that is lower than the current limit. Thus, it offers flexible solutions to meet both the cooling comfort and the maximum operating current restriction. For further details, please refer to specification sheet.

4 Low Noise Operation In most conventional air-conditioners, a single rotary compressor is used. However, the AMSV series has been designed to use a-state-of-the-art, twin rotary compressor. In this compressor, the rollers phases are staggered 180 apart from each other. With this design, the centrifugal forces of one roller is counterbalanced by the force of the other roller, whereby reducing the vibration of the compressor. This makes the unit quieter and less vibration compared to a conventional unit that uses a single rotary compressor. Single Rotary: Centrifugal force always produced in one direction, resulting in excessive vibration. Twin Rotary: Centrifugal force of one roller is counterbalanced by that of the other roller for significantly lower vibration. Better Space Utilization When space is limited, Acson AMSV series is the ideal solution. This outdoor unit is designed with the capability of coupling up to 4 indoor units. Thus, it can effectively improve the floor space utilisation. Faults occur in the air conditioning systems will be detected and informed through both the AWMX-G and AMSV unit. This will ease the troubleshooting process should any faults occur to the system.
