2 Power and Energy Systems Engineering Services Organization and Project Execution Our present organization evolved as a result of the many years of cooperative and successful engineering work by our associates. We have been organized since the year 2001, however most members of our engineering and technical leadership have been working closely together for many more years. This has allowed us to effectively and efficiently utilize broad capabilities and exceptional experience to provide comprehensive, cost effective technical solutions to our Clients. We have broad capabilities gained through involvement in engineering, planning, operations, and maintenance of electric power systems including: industrial power systems, utility transmission, distribution, and substation, electric power generation plants, cogeneration facilities, refineries, petrochemical; and large institutional and commercial facilities. We provide detailed engineering and design, operations support, planning and analysis, conceptual studies, project management, and commissioning of electrical facilities. We also can provide short circuit studies, protective relay application and settings, and SCADA system design. Aside from this previous experience, the following is a partial listing of Projects completed by our Company since its initial organization in Electric Power System Planning Study for a municipal electric utility serving a 70 MW area load with generation and transmission interconnections. Design and Construction Management of kv Substation for a Mississippi Municipal Utility. Design and Construction Management of 115/ kv Substation for a Louisiana Municipal Utility Design and Construction Management of a five transformer kv substation together and an interconnecting 44 MW electric generator for a large petroleum refinery. Design of a Power Distribution Center utilizing 34.5kV SF6 Insulated Electric Switchgear and Protective Relay Applications for a bulk handling facility Design of a 5MW Electric Cogeneration System with a Heat Recovery Steam Generator and its electrical interconnection into a process plant system in the US Virgin islands. Addition of a 115 kv transmission substation bay and 115 kv transmission line to new substation. Design of all relay and control systems for the re-construction of a two transformer, kv substation with a transformer capacity of 110 MVA and twenty-13.8 kv feeders at a large petroleum refinery. Design of an industrial CHP cogeneration system, switchgear, generator controls, and interconnections. Design of a 13 kv power distribution system incorporating multiple standby generators and utility feeders. Developed automatic bus transfer and generator operating systems. Engineering Design of Protective Relaying, Control, and SCADA Systems associated with the Replacement of a kv Power Transformer at a high voltage utility electric substation.

Replacement of 230 kv, 46 MVA Power Transformer and 13.8 kv Main Circuit Breaker and installation of 230 kv Circuit Breaker for a large refinery. Project Management and Construction Oversight for installation of 500 kv Switchyard for a 1240 MW Independent Power Plant and associated 500 kv utility interconnection substation. Design of a kv electric substation to provide power to a process plant. Replacement of Protective Relays and Controls and SCADA installation for 13.8 kv distribution feeder breakers for a municipal electric utility. Power System Computer Modeling, studies, and model maintenance of an SKM Power Tools Model of approximately 1800 Buses for a refinery. Conceptual development and evaluation of a Power Interconnection for direct electricity sales between a combined cycle power generation plant and a petroleum refinery in an open market state jurisdiction. Engineering review and condition assessment of 230 kv through 13.8 kv power transformers in service at a nuclear generating station. Engineering Study in support of Black Start of power generating units in the ERCOT reliability region of Texas. Electric power system analysis and engineering design associated with the collection of landfill generated methane gas and its use for industrial purposes. Technical evaluation and condition assessment for a large Generator Step-Up Power Transformer at a Nuclear Power Generating Plant. Provided analysis, testing support, and recommendations related to the restoration of the transformer and plant for operation. 230 kv High Voltage Substation and 69 kv and 13.8 kv Electric Distribution Design including selection of equipment, layout of facilities; equipment specification; system load flow, voltage, system short circuit, and motor starting studies for a large refinery addition. Design of Standardized Transmission Line Metering Panels, for a large utility, using latest state-of-the-art technology meters.

11 List of Projects Electric System Planning and Electric Power System Design Services for major improvements to a university electric power system plant utilizing 13.8 kv, 4.16 kv, and 480V equipment. Design and Installation of 13.8 kv Switchgear to supply power to a university campus. Engineering Design work included installation of switchgear with automated switching among multiple 24 kv electric utility distribution supply feeders for reliable back-up, integration of cogeneration unit protection and synchronization into switchgear design, development of cogeneration interface with local utility, protective relay and control, foundations and structures. 13 kv Electric Distribution System Design including Standby Generation for a large hospital. Cogeneration interconnection to the local utility system for a Sugar Mill. Installation of 4160V Switchgear and Schweitzer protective Relays for a Sugar mill.
