18 RECOVERY OF PHOSPHOR FROM ASH Technologies still under development: OutoTec offers an add-on solution to their sludge incineration plants. However phoshor from the product is not easily absorber by pants Other technologies are less developed however the product is more attractive Drivers: Example: In CH land use is banned and recovery of phosphor will by a requirement: Price development for phosphor:

19 SLUDGE INCINERATION COST Sludge incineration for ton DM per year Investment: M&E: 230 MSEK + Civil: 85 MSEK Treatment cost: 600 SEK per ton (25% DM) + transportation and fee for depositing ash The Avedøre plant near Copenhagen offers to receive sludge for incineration, for example 25% DM sludge at OC <64% 515 SEK/ton OC >64% 650 SEK/ton 19
