Reducing the year 2015's target amount:1643 tons of CO2 emission by the end of December. We ve reduced 3,734 tons of CO2 emission by reducing electricity and fuel on our production management. Conservation of Resources Reduction in quantity of gold consumed. Reducing the year 2015 s target: 306g of gold by the end of December. We ve promoted switching our bonding wire material from gold to copper. Therefore, we ve reduced 265g of gold accordingly. All of Us Participating in Environmental Improvement Activities Arbitrarily set according to the target Environmental Mass Balance Each dept. consult on 22 activities that they extract from their duties. Main activity: Promoting improvement activities of energy saving and resource saving. Intensifying the number of operations chief of organic solvents work. Controlling material over stock. Training of Chemical receiving spill. Reducing industrial water. Each dept. achieved their plans. Assessment Standards of the Achievement level :110% or more. :From 95% to less than 110% :From 80% to less than 95% :From 65% to less than 80% :Less than 65% Large amounts of energy and chemicals are required in the production of semiconductors. ASEJ accurately measures the environmental load of its operations and utilizes this data in order to reduce it. 5 2015 Measurement Results of Environmental Analysis We periodically monitor and investigate our waste water, noises and vibrations that we discharge. Abiding by the lows and regulations, we strive to insure our clean discharge according to our strict In-house standards which is more strict than Japanese lows and regulations. Objectives Monitored Item Targets Main Projects Prevention of Global Warming Reduction in CO2 emissions (in 2015). Reducing 1653 tons of CO2 emission by the end of December Reducing supplies on weekend shut downs. Improving air conditioning efficiency Reducing air compressor electricity Introducing inverter compressor Reducing electricity from facility improvement Conservation of Resources Reduction in quantity of gold consumed Reducing 29 grams of gold usage by the end of December Reducing gold usage with the new products. All of Us Participating in Environmental Improvement Activities Arbitrarily set according to the target Each dept. setups and performs environmental improvement activities Intensifying the number of operations chief of organic solvents work (Improving and risk reducing of environmental management) Controlling material over stock Trainings for chemical receiving spill Reducing industrial water Renewing IT instruments to energy efficient model Environmental Activities for Community We promote environmental activities such as raising our employees' environmental awareness and working on social contribution activities since each of our employees aims to be the best partner of society in order to be appreciated by local people as a member of the community. Forest nurturing activities by Corporations in Okitama region We participated in a program called A forest protecting network with our hands in Okitama. On November 22nd 2015, 6 employees attended a tree planting activity hosted by Protect Mt.Akutsu-Hachiman association. We planted Yew woods, which is an ingredient of Mokushaku used by Kannushi and Hackberries which giant purple butterflies lay their eggs. 6

7 Volunteer Activities We worked for volunteer cleanup Taiyo-kan, which is Takahata station and its neighborhood, as one of regional contributions. On June 13, 2015, 20 employees participated in the activities and removed spider webs, cleaned windows, and swept east and west exits of the station. Eco-driving Training We contribute to the prevention of global warming on learning environment-consciousness and fuel save driving at the eco-driving training instructed by an coaches from administration. On June 18, 2015, 8 employees attended this eco-driving training session. The number of person attended this session is 152 in total. Participation in Eco-style challenge and The light down Campaign. We participated in a campaign called Eco-style Challenge hosted by Yamagata prefecture and contributed to activities to prevent global warming. We were chosen as a leading company amongst companies in Yamagata prefecture. Examples of the activity: Controlling the number of air conditioner according to our heat load. Embodying coolant water system. In the The light down campaign in 2015 throughout Japan, we turned off the lights outside on June 21 and July 7. 7
